I used to buy the consumer branded permanent hair dyes from supermarkets and noticed that every time I dyed my hair, this was accompanied by significant hair loss on washing out the dye and then the conditioner out. This also lasted about 4 weeks until I had to repeat. I switched to this product as it is what my hairdresser uses in their salon, and she’s always persuading me to get my roots done professionally as it’s less harsh and minimal hair fallout. But at £110 a pop per visit, it’s doesn’t sound too cost efficient, especially as it’s only the roots I wanted done. This toner is amazing. I had a massive fail with some bleach and semi permanent pink dye at the weekend resulting in a partly pink, partly yellow, partly orange, partly peach, partly brassy and completely awful mess. Hairdressers have only just opened and chances of getting a rescue appointment slim. Some frantic googling and YouTube video watching led me to wella toners, which I have used before but not quite to this awesome effect. This toner does need to be mixed with a developer to work, I used a 6% (20 vol) which lifts by 2 shades, you can use 30 vol to lift by 3 shades if you prefer. Lightness wasn't the problem for me, it was colour. Tentatively applied to all the problem areas and finished up with the roots to avoid "hot roots".

Great product, arrived one day earlier, colour exactly as promised. So, my hair colour is medium blonde. Firstly, i bleached my roots with blondor powder and 6% 20vol. Welloxon developer. Kept it about one hour. Then, mixed my colour cream with same developer as above. Ratio 1:1, it means in my case one tube of colour cream - 60ml. : 60ml. of developer. I put it for about 25mins. as my hair was already bleached and next spread the mixture onto full lenght for 5 mins. Thats it. Colour is amazing, im over the moon?Bye, bye overpriced hairdressers

Fast delivery and good packagingYou should know that this is a colour tube only and must be mixed with a developer.1 Tube (60ml) should be mixed 1:1 with developer (has to be ordered separately). 1 tube is enough for a shoulder length - bra strap length hair if hair is not too thick.It is true to colour and does not have a strong chemical smell

As I have been on lockdown for 12 weeks you can imagine that, as I normally have my hair coloured at the Hairdressers 6 weeks, The regrowth was very bad. My husband who can do anything except give birth --tinted my regrowth very successfully . We are both delighted to be able to use the product that I normally have done . Thank you

wanted to get my lockdown hair back to my natural, after being every colour possible the last year. Didnt want to end up with grey or green hair with shop box colour. bought two tubes and mixed with 20vol peroxide, come our exactly how i wanted, now my hair can have a rest and repair. thank you will be using again

Item arrived on time and as described. Great colour covers grey hair perfectly. I was suffering like many others with lockdown hair this was the key to ending the troublesome mop i had develped. I recommend it and I don't think I'll bother spending a small fortune at hairdressers again on colouring.

This colour comes out quite dark & is more of a black than a brown. But is perfect for covering greys with the right amount of developer used. Purchased this make as its what my hairdresser uses & sorted me out a treat during lockdown

This product works so much better than the supermarket ones. Colour lasts much longer and good value for money as one tube did my whole head and a rout touch up. I would suggest purchasing a shade one lighter than you think you need.

I love wella dyes. I use this 77/43 with a 20vol developer and my copper/red stays bright and vibrant for ages! It doesn’t fade as quickly as some. It lifts my level 4 roots very well also. I get so many compliments on my hair

It came on time, I’ve never had a problem with this hair product or the seller. Wella colours are really nice and my hair is always shiny when the colour has been done. Would definitely recommend for the sellers good service.

Amazing quality! It doesn’t even compare to the usual store bought hair dyes. The hair looks shiny and healthy, it feels like I had s conditioning treatment rather than a hair colour. I’ll never use anything else again.

Do it myself mixing colours and doing my own roots. I don't trust Salon anymore I paid a fortune and came out with nearly orange hair so no more now I found the wonderful colours of Koleston easy to do at home .

my hairdresser always puts Wella Koleston on my hair so I used the same quantities as she told me to so I feel much better & my hair is lovely & shiny. very pleased Amazon with not being able to go to shops.

Professional quality product, obviously needs to be used with activating agent but gives salon quality results. I am one woman happy to wait for the queue to die down at the hairdressers. 10/10
