I've tried three colours so far-Blue Lagoon, Electric Blue, and Purple Fury-but cannot review them separately, so scroll down for individual reviews. Each was on unbleached hair. You get a tube with a screw off lid inside a cardboard box. This brand is vegan and it's fine to leave in your hair for as long as you want or can forget about it. It depends on the colour how well it will come out, how much you'll need, etc-generally the darker and deeper colours like purple work better and can be cut with conditioner a bit to increase the amount you have or top up when washing.I found this brand is very easy to remove the colour if you're fed up with it or whatever-hot water and keep shampooing. You'll need to do it a few times, but it will come out. On the other side, washing in cold water kept most of the colour in, and it didn't rub off anywhere. It's also easy to remove stains from the bathtub or sink, or skin. The tube is quite a nice size-I only did the ends of my hair so can't say for sure, but it should be enough to cover a whole head of head that came to shoulder length, maybe more. It's really good value, perfect for experimenting with.(BLUE LAGOON) - I tried this on unbleached hair, which is a light brown/dark blonde type colour.Blue lagoon is a kind of turquoise colour, a blue that's more on the green side of things. It will probably come out fine on bleached/light blonde hair. On mine, it did colour it, but as it's a green tinted colour on top of a blonde (yellow), it comes out a sort of sea green. It's not a bad colour, but it's definitely not the one it's meant to be, and it will become greener the more it fades.(ELECTRIC BLUE)After the failed Blue Lagoon I went for the richer, darker Electric Blue in the hopes it would be blue and not green-again, on unbleached hair. This time it did come out blue, and (obviously) the blonder the parts of my hair were, the better it worked. The browner sections didn't work out so well, and overall it was darker and more dull than it would be on bleached/light blonde hair. It looks like it would work really well though!(PURPLE FURY)This one was amazing! I left it on for over an hour, hoping to make it more vivid. It came out really well on my unbleached hair. It looks quite different in different lighting-at night under the usual lights, it looks dark brown, and you can hardly tell it's there. Then in the daytime, it's a lovely vivid purple.Of course it faded a bit after the first wash, and each since, but it's still quite obvious. You can cut the dye with conditioner very easily for this colour, it's so saturated, so you can use that each wash to last longer. It's been fading to a sort of red-brown colour, like a muted chestnut, which is much nicer than a green.

This product was perfect for me.I bleached my whole head and then split dyed it (found a middle parting, then had one side one colour and the other side another). It was the perfect amount for me, but since I have fairly short hair and was only dying half of my head, I would advise others to maybe order more than one tube if intending to dye the whole head with hair at, idk, say chin length and below? In regards to colour, it's great. I've had it for just over a week now, washed it a few times, and the colour is still great. Potentially slightly different to the original colour, since it's semi permanent, but not in a negative way. If anything, the lightness seems to make it brighter. In some patches it went slightly green, but only slightly, and that's probably due to the fact that my bleaching was a bit uneven on that side anyway. One word of warning, if you do intend to dye only some of your hair with it and leave the rest, it does bleed a bit into the non-coloured hair. I can't say as how that would work with coloured/darker hair, but for me you could see that it had bled quite noticeably into the blonde for a few days/a week after I did it. It still looked awesome, and it achieved the look I was going for more or less, and granted it very easily could be a fault with my method, but just have that in the back of your mind. All in all though, great product, 10/10 would use again. :)

Brilliant colour!!!With the current situation being on lockdown, I really fancied a change of colour but with all the hairdressers being shut I knew I’d have to do it myself! I also knew I wanted to use a semi permanent colour as I didn’t want it to be permanent, and have to either cut my hair off or pay a lot of money getting it corrected when the hairdressers opened up and I’d had enough of the colour!I bought one dye which said it would produce a lovely lavender colour, I followed what it said, put it on left it for the required 30mins and the result was a subtle lavender which after one wash faded by half and disappointed!so after looking around again I thought I’d try this dye.my hair is a dark blonde with highlights and past my shoulders in length. I did the bottom half of my hair, left it on for half the time as I didn’t want it to be too bright!.......... well it came up a lovely deep purple!! Friends and family have commented on my pictures that it looks really good so I’m very happy!I’m actually excited to see how the colour fades through shades of purple as I wash it each week!I will say that if I was going to do my whole head then I would definitely need to buy 2 tubes, but for a half head dye job it was the perfect amount for me.Will definitely buy again if I want a temporary colour change!!

I have bleached hair which is a light blonde and had a grey permanent colour, which has faded. As I had put my hair through quite a lot with the bleaching and colouring, I didn't want to use something which would damage it further.I used this on dry washed hair with no condition (as this will block the colour) the cream is thick and the tubes were standard size, as bleached hair is so porous, it was sucked into my hair quickly which is why I needed 2 but I have only a bob haircut, which does seem like a lot and could be expensive long term!I kept this on for an hour, as it says it is conditioning and wouldn't damage my hair and to ensure I would give the colour the best chance to saturate,I did go back to massage this in half way through!I rinsed it with cool water and I have a nice gunmetal grey, the only gripe I have is that I didn't find it very conditioning. My advice:Use 2 tubes or more depending on your hair length, it is thick and doesnt go far enough to saturate your hair otherwise.Only works on bleached hair that is at least a light blond colour.Leave it on for an hour for best results, or longer for a more vibrant deep colour.Always put it on shampoo'd dry hair and only rinse with cool water, otherwise hot water will wash away the deposited colour.

I used the Purple Fury on my bleached hair and it is a fantastically vibrant colour. The first time it did fade pretty quickly (after about 2 weeks), but to be fair I do wash my hair every day and I don't use cold water which would be better for retaining colour. After the first time though I started using OGX fade-defying shampoo & conditioner, which seemed to work really well at keeping the colour for longer. The Blue Lagoon was applied when my hair was already a light green/blue colour (similar to the shade on the box but more washed out looking), but as you can see the shade on the box is not a very good representation of the colour you end up with! It's more of a teal and I actually love the colour and much prefer it to the one on the box.The bottle isn't huge but they are very reasonably priced compared to similar products, and I have really short hair so one bottle does my hair a few times (it keeps for 12 months after opening). I also had no issues with it staining either my skin or anything else. I did get some on the sink which I didn't spot til the following day, and it just washed straight off with soap & water.

With Ireland being in what feels like permanent lockdown I had to take matters into my own hands and give Rebellious Neon pink a go. Well my husband did it, turns out he's extremely handy with a tint brush. My hair has been pink for 4 years now, this time it has been 7 wks since it was bleached and coloured initially with Colour Psycho (used this product before and was happy, not so much this time). Then used Manic Panic, which gave excellent results but the FADE!!!!!! I couldn't stand it anymore so ordered Rebellious Neon Pink as the colour looked amazing on the box. the cream was thick so was easily applied with no drip. No skin stains either which is nice.I left it on for approx 1 hr with 5-8 mins of blasting with a hairdryer to give it extra vibrancy as recommended on the box. Rinsed and colour conditioner applied and Voila!!! I am so pleased with the results, just WOW!!!! Hopefully the fade won't be as quick as previous brands used. Full MoJo has been restored, Thanks a million xo

I got this after using colour B4 on my hair! I had lifted it from a dark purple and it started a strawberry blonde colour after I'd stripped it and then went more ashy. I got this as I noticed my hair had started to get a funny tinge to it after stripping it (greenish - not a good look!) I ordered this dye as colour b4 recommended a semi permanent dye with no hydrogen peroxide in. It arrived the same day I ordered it. I was nervous to use it and ordered 3 tubes as I was unsure how much would be in a tube. I put a lot of conditioner in to lighten the colour of the dye and was really impressed with the result! With the conditioner combined it went a long way and i was surprised at how much was left when I'd done my full head!(Over half) after drying it i did a second application to make sure I hadn't missed any spots! Overall very impressed and it has lasted so far (1 week in). It left my hair shiny and smooth and I was happy with the result! Would 100% recommend ?

I have naturally very dark brown hair but I wanted to add bit of colour, I tried a purple permanent dye that claimed to work on dark hair but did nothing ? so I realised I’d need to lighten but I got real scared of bleach and removed too early ending up more ginger than blonde ?.I maybe should have re bleached but decided to try blue anyway! I mean it’s temporary what’s worse that could happen? I ended up with what I would call a turquoise colour which I love ? I feel like aqua woman ?.I’ve had in 2 weeks and washed hair 4 times and doesn’t seem to be fade at all.So simple to use and apply and no chemical smell or burning I sometimes get with permanent dyes.I left mine on for 2 hours ?.Did stain towel but what dye doesn’t?I didn’t get bright blue but I started with ginger so understandable and I Love ❤️ my mermaid look.I’ve already stocked up on blues and purples and will use again.Good value because it works ? I’ve gone from ginger to red and it’s taken really well. I’m only 2 washes in and the colour’s not faded much; I do use red shampoo and conditioner too so this probably helps. It covered most of the hair (some unseen bits didn’t colour but this was due to my application process) so this is the perfect size for short-medium length hair; any longer and you’d need two.The photos show my natural colour, after the dye was applied and after one wash.I haven’t rated it 5 star due to the fact it doesn’t come with gloves (it does say this in the description though) and a form of brush to apply the hair dye so I was gloveless and just used my hands/fingers. This stained my hands red for 2 days (my bad,I know) but came off after multiple baking soda and washing up liquid hand washes! It’s a shame these aren’t provided.I really like the colour and I’d probably do it again.

Was looking for a green dye that would be an emerald green, rather than a sort of greeny teal that a lot of green dyes seem to be. This was exactly what I was looking for, it was a beautiful green (put over bleach blonde hair) only problem with it was the green only stayed for a couple of washes before it became blue. It's a very nice blue, like a turquoise, similar to the colour you get with their blue lagoon dye, but blue is also a colour that sticks in hair. So if you're just looking for a wash in wash out sort of thing, I would say get a spray or something, I've had this dye in my hair for over a month (washing it every other day) so unless you're willing to bleach your hair again, cut off the dyed bits, or use a darker colour to cover it, maybe look elsewhere.Have attached pictures of the green originally and the blue now, a month later

On the box it says something about bleaching your hair, I have darkish orange hair (also dyed) but I ignored the box, shampooed my hair, hair dried it till it was semi dry and then combed half the product on to the bottom half of my hair...I should have probably used less product than I did, my hair is really long and I have to normally use 3 hair dyed to just dye my hair, but after I used half a tube I figured that was enough. I put all my hair in to a bag and used my hair dryer on the highest heat setting for 5-10 minutes and then left it for 40 minutes (I forgot about it). Just washed it off and the bottom half of my hair is purple ??Normally semi Permanent dyed to colours don’t work as my hair is quite Dark and a bit damages due to all the dying I do,but I’ll be purchasing this again for future use, if it stays for a while :)

So I'm new in the realm of semi permanent colors and maybe purple is always like this but this stuff impressed me.Hair situation: Bleached ends of dreads, so basically 5-10 year old somewhat damaged hair.Put this dye on, let it sit for quite some time (about an hour, kept it warm) and washed it out with cold water. The color was absolutely BRILLIANT, very beautiful purple. That was about 8 weeks ago and with my previous dyes, I would expect my hair to be greyish-blonde at the end, but it's still desaturated purple although I've been washing the ends quite aggressively. I only did the powerwashing 2 times, up till then it was still super purple - don't think this will fade without color remover or at least a bleach bath.I really love it.though by now I wouldn't mind the blonde coming black so I can try the next shade. :)

pleasantly surprised at the colour from this! I had lavender hair and didn't think this would cover it, maybe give me a deeper purple but it completely cover the lavender and I now have a nice denim blue on one side And bright pink on the other. I used the shocking uv pink and blue lagoon. The blue mixture is kinda like a thick gel so didn't spread super easily and thebcolour wasnt bright enough to bulk out with conditioner I needed 1 and bit tubes to do just under half my head in blue.I mixed the pink with some conditioner as it was very intense and used half a tube to do a little over half my head. Washed out easily but did leave my hair feeling a bit dry and rough on the blue (non conditioner mix)side. Doesn't have a bad smell. Will probably use again if the price stays the same.

So I cant comment on the longevity or the fade with this product as literally just put it on my hair. I bought it to liven up my dyed golden ginger hair as I am not used to having normal hair colour. I initially tried my usual brand colour freedom but found because my base colour is no longer light blond it didnt make much of an impact. I saw this on amazon and though why not for 3.99. I mixed a quarter of the tube with what I had left of my colour freedom shade as I was not sure how potent this stuff was. Well the answer is very potent. My hair feel lovely and soft too and there has been no scalp or skin staining what so ever. The product went on my hair easily and I could run a comb through each section no problems.Super impressed I have gone and bought the uv red to try too

So like me I'm putting it on the day I need it just like every Halloween for me instead of sensibly putting on the day before freaking out if I do this wrong my hair will fall out.Do not worry about this there is no bleach in the product or things that make your hair fall out or you need to do is wash it after half an hourI recommend double layering especially for people who who are dark hair from my experience with it.(I used a spare hair comb for this and it worked fine. Highly advised gloves using this Product and a wet towel at the ready to wipe the marks off your skin)If you're doing this to see what you think you would look like a dyed hair I'd say it's close but you're probably goingto get a better result using actual hair dye that is got a good reputation.
