This toner is amazing. I had a massive fail with some bleach and semi permanent pink dye at the weekend resulting in a partly pink, partly yellow, partly orange, partly peach, partly brassy and completely awful mess. Hairdressers have only just opened and chances of getting a rescue appointment slim. Some frantic googling and YouTube video watching led me to wella toners, which I have used before but not quite to this awesome effect. This toner does need to be mixed with a developer to work, I used a 6% (20 vol) which lifts by 2 shades, you can use 30 vol to lift by 3 shades if you prefer. Lightness wasn't the problem for me, it was colour. Tentatively applied to all the problem areas and finished up with the roots to avoid "hot roots".

I bought this to try and tone out some brassy tones in my hair and give it a bit more of a 'natural' ashy blonde colour. It worked well when it was first applied and my hair looked amazing for about 2 weeks.I have ordered a second (slightly different, ashier) colour in this same range and I'm going to try it with a different strength developer to give more of a lift than my previous attempt. I must also state I'm not a professional hairdresser - more of a lockdown Youtube video 'suck it and see' sort of a person so it might be that I'm applying it wrong or mixing it wrong, etc.I've been using purple toning shampoo alongside this. Have to admit though,

Great product, arrived one day earlier, colour exactly as promised. So, my hair colour is medium blonde. Firstly, i bleached my roots with blondor powder and 6% 20vol. Welloxon developer. Kept it about one hour. Then, mixed my colour cream with same developer as above. Ratio 1:1, it means in my case one tube of colour cream - 60ml. : 60ml. of developer. I put it for about 25mins. as my hair was already bleached and next spread the mixture onto full lenght for 5 mins. Thats it. Colour is amazing, im over the moon?Bye, bye overpriced hairdressers

So I tried the wella medium smokey ash blonde first and it turned my hair ginger! Avoid that colour at all costs! Bought this immediately after and I couldn't be more pleased. I'm naturally medium to dark blonde, but for the last 20 years I've been dying my hair black and decided to bleach the black out during lockdown 1 and this dye is the closet I've found to my natural colour and I've tried dozens trying to get my hair back to its natural colour! Thoroughly recommend

Fast delivery and good packagingYou should know that this is a colour tube only and must be mixed with a developer.1 Tube (60ml) should be mixed 1:1 with developer (has to be ordered separately). 1 tube is enough for a shoulder length - bra strap length hair if hair is not too thick.It is true to colour and does not have a strong chemical smell

As I have been on lockdown for 12 weeks you can imagine that, as I normally have my hair coloured at the Hairdressers 6 weeks, The regrowth was very bad. My husband who can do anything except give birth --tinted my regrowth very successfully . We are both delighted to be able to use the product that I normally have done . Thank you

Amazing quality! It doesn’t even compare to the usual store bought hair dyes. The hair looks shiny and healthy, it feels like I had s conditioning treatment rather than a hair colour. I’ll never use anything else again.

Do it myself mixing colours and doing my own roots. I don't trust Salon anymore I paid a fortune and came out with nearly orange hair so no more now I found the wonderful colours of Koleston easy to do at home .

Same as salon mixed with welloxen 20% peroxide equal parts . Only used for roots but did the trick this review was for shade 9.1 left it on for 45mins . Hope this helps

best light ash professional hair colour around, cancelled out all orange and brassy tones, smooth application and overall good coverage, leaves your hair nice an shiny

Used 7/18 dye with 20vol developer (bought seperate)It did a good job at toning the orange hair!Had to use the whole tube on my short fine hair.

Perfect quality, despite I didn’t succeed the colour I wanted, didn’t damage my hair and the result was nice. Also, great customer service.

Used to tone over a slightly gingery shade left by bleaching, beautiful soft pearly blonde with a hint of ash, will definitely use again ?
