Lockdown - disaster struck. I had reached for the diy hair dye to cover my awful 4inch long roots!Well first i had used l'oreal excellence Glasgow and my roots went ginger!! Then a couple weeks later i caved and used jerome russel bleach and my hair went completely white/yellow! Cringe. Lightbulb head. After much research for toning my tresses down i found this toner and mixed it with a developer. 2 parts developer to 1 part toner.I was so pleased when i rinsed this out. I am thankfully back to an acceptable ash blonde!I definitely recommend using a hair mask or a really good conditioner to keep hair soft after using this as mine did go a tad dry.I've only washed my hair every 2-3 days to keepthe toner in as long as possible. It has come out a bit already but it has been at least 2 months now i think! So for the time and cost of doing it yourself at home vs the salon prices i think it was pretty good value to be honest.I will however be going back to my hairdresser in a couple of weeks now that they are open again!!I don't trust myself to use this correctly and not do any damage long term but it was a good value quick fix in the meantime.I definitely have an increased respect for the chemistry that our fairy godmother hairdressers have to do to make our hair look and feel good whilst combatting damage!

Bought for toning roots after bleaching i used 6% (20vol) peroxide with half a tube of 10/69 , I applied to roots and undercut part of my hair as these had been freshly bleached and was left with yellow roots i left it for 15mins and then took the excess through the ends and left for 10 mins ( my hair was bleached to level 10 through the lengths and my roots were about a 9 ) I love the colour its given my lengths of my hair its a lovely ashy pearlescent colour and gives a nice shine to my hair , my roots do still have a warmer tone to them but its definitely much less brassy , I will probably re apply to just the roots , I would buy as its a lovely colour.

Super happy with this. Left side of the picture was a bleach and toner with a L’Oréal product, but didn’t bring my hair down to the tone I wanted. Used Wella 8/69 a few days later and it’s picked up and toned the last few bits of ginger without lifting the hair or damaging it. For reference, I used 1:1 with a Wella 9% vol peroxide and left on for half an hour on washed and towel dried hair. I’m not a professional hairdresser, don’t know if any of that advice should be followed.

I've bleached my hair and I had a few yellowy pink streaks in it I use different toner 3 times and didn't take it out I was going to bleach my hair again but I got told about this toner and I used it and I'm really happy with it easy to use I did panic when I was rinsing my hair because it looks like it went a grey dark colour and my roots went light I carried on rinsing it all out and the results were amazing I was really happy and I will definitely use this product again

love this toner. Thought I would try something else rather than my usual toner and I must say I am very impressed. I lightened my hair to a level 10 with bleach and mixed one part toner (half a tube) with 2 parts developer (3%) and first put on my roots that were lightened for 10 minutes, then put the rest through to my ends for another 5 minutes. I don’t know how long it will last but with all blonde toners, upkeep is the key.

If you’re looking for an ashy toner, then this is the one! I originally ordered the wella t11 but was going to take longer to be delivered, so bought this one to give it a try on Prime, got it within one day and used it on my bleached hair...and OMG my hair was bright yellow, after I used this is turned into a nice ashy colour without turning it grey/silver which I hate on me.

With lockdown, like most, I went a little mad and dyed my fringe blonde. As my hair is dark this went a little yellow, tried a few silver shampoos etc but couldn’t get it too lift, brought this after reading reviews and really improved on the colour! Make sure you have developer though as doesn’t come with it and instructions were not in English!

I applied this on the freshly bleached ends of my hair. I didn’t lift the ends all the way to blonde as I just wanted a light brown colour. My hair was bright orange until this toner saved me and made it a nice colour.I only had 40vol developer so I just watered it down to make it 20-30vol and it worked fine.

Pictures are of before and after. I had lightened the front part of my hair with 2 bleached & one lightening kit, from a level 3 to a level 8. It was still too warm toned so I bought this colour to make it ashy. It worked really well (I mixed with 10vol peroxide), it's now super ashy and I love the colour!

Great product!!! Only use it if you know how to mix it. I usually add 2 different colours from Illumina 5/7 and 5/35 and add the same quantity of wells welloxon perfect to make the colouring . Example : 60 ml Illumina + 60 ml welloxon, for medium hair. Best of luck! Would recommend it to everyone.

10/69 Perfect for getting the icy white hair. Equiv of the old T18 toner no longer available. My hair is naturally a 7 dark blonde so I had to lighten it first either with bleach or by using a highlight developer with the white dye. I got 1+ applications from the tube, so it's a bit expensive.

I am a professional hairdresser and have used other wella shades, but haven't noticed this particular shade in the wholesalers, so have it a try and am delighted with the result. I would recommend giving it a try and if you are not a professional hairdresser this will work out cheap.

I love this hair colour its really easy to use and is a lovely colour. Although if your hair is mid brown or darker you will need to bleach first then apply this. One tube is enough for roots and short hair but would be worth getting two tubes if hair is long or thick :-)

Beautiful tonerUsed on freshly bleached hair this gave me a beautiful silvery white even colour.Mixed half colour and half 20vol developer and applied to roots frost for 10 minutes and then combed through to the ends for another 5-7 minutesGorgeous really happy

First off idk why everyones complaining about lack of english instructions....it has english instructions just further down. English isnt everyones first language jeez. Second this toner worked fairly well, as long as you get the ratios correct you'll be fine :)
