I like that this oil is specific for the job in hand and comes with detailed instructions...However, I have yet to find out if it helps prevent damage in labour. I will update accordingly.I have since found out that there are cheaper alternatives that I already have at home, and can be used instead so I probably wouldn’t buy again. But it was a good starting point.

I am giving a 4 as I still have a few weeks to go in labour so dont know how effective might be.The smell and the effect-to start stretching easier seem ok...in general it is not a pleasant massage but I believe with the time it helps the area to soften....the oil is ok, no irritation and no stains. I don’t wash it out, I just leave it on after the massage.

its all in French so you would need to download from internet all infor of how to use it, ingredients etc. I haven't used it yet but I believe its the same thing and I trust it works wonders. It arrived really quick in a rather large box compering to the size of the bottle.

I started using this product when I was 34 weeks pregnant and I gave birth at 37 weeks. Not sure if it was of this product or not, as I didn’t use it too much but my perineum didn’t tear which is good. It was recommended to me by midwife and I do recommend it too.

I was four weeks early with my daughter so I didn't get to do much massaging, but I didn't have too much of a bad time and really believe the massage I did do helped a lot! I gave the rest of the bottle to my friend who is expecting :)

Really good quality oil with a lovely smell- unfortunately ended up with an EMCS so can’t attest to whether it would have worked or not! Gave me more confidence going up to the birth however, which is definitely worth something!

We used this in preparation for birth of first baby. In the end I had an episiotomy so not 100% sure if it worked, but it’s a bonding experience and good for peace of mind. No side effects or issues!

My pregnancy yoga teacher told me about massaging the perineum during pregnancy, so I purchased waleda perineum massage oil. I highly recommend it to all expecting mums. It does make a difference!

I'll never know if it really works ... for two times I tried to use it and in the end I made c-section . There will be a third time . The fact remains that I completely trust the weleda .

used it for perineal massage two weeks prior my own birth and had no issues. i usually also recommend it to my clients since the price/value combination is really good

Im not sure it was the oil that worked. But it was good to have a specific oil to massage this sensitive area. A bit over priced to my liking.

Seems to be working for me, very soft and delicate oil that doesn’t feel weird when applying it. So far it’s perfect!

Lovely stuff, scent is very calming (which you need for its purpose!) Light and soft oil, don't need to use too much

Good for prepping the skin. Only use in the last few weeks of pregnancy so nice that the bottle isn’t overly large
