Brolly seems built decently. The lengthening/shortening ratchet on the handle has a screw lock which is nice as it keeps it more securely in the position you select. As to height, I am 6 foot and its barely long enough for me at its maximum height. If you are taller than me then it may not be the right product for you. The handle is comfortable enough but a little small, I have small hands for a bloke but even so it seems a bit too small. Again if you are a male with large hands you may need something a bit sturdier to grasp.The brolly opens and closes ok though hasn't been used in battle yet, but I have little doubts it will be fine.The cap on the bottom is plastic, not rubber. Its flimsy,

I bought this as I have to use a walking stick but I am still too young to be that old. The walking stick is adjustable to height which is useful and it does look good. The umbrella function is easy to use, a one touch button also when you want to take the umbrella down it just clicks back in to place. This is very useful for me as my hands don't work properly. This is fantastic quality at a reasonable price. There are also other walking stick umbrellas for sale on Amazon in various colours and prices but this one for me is the best.

Bought this for my stylish Gran. She has arthritis but was reluctant to use a walking stick as she claims it would make her look old (she's 80 by the way). It is a working umbrella, but has the advantage of being non slip, unlike the regular umbrella she was using as a makeshift walking stick before. Sturdy and functional. Worth the investment.

I bought this for my elderly father, hoping to encourage him to walk more. It's a strong stick, comfortable and adjustable, with a great rubber stopper at the end, and it has a nice umbrella function, click button to slide open the umbrella. Very pleased with this, great if he's out walking and it starts raining.

This is brilliant as an umbrella and also perfect as a walking stick. I have a transient need for a walking stick and this helps disguise that need, although there is no way to change the height of the stick. As an umbrella it is very sturdy, I think I will get many years use out of it.

A friend of mine has one of these, and I thought what a great idea. I ordered one from Amazon and it arrived in a few days, it was at a great price and I find it wonderful, I would recommend this seller, wish I had one years ago it makes life a lot easier.

The product seems to be of good quality and is exactly what I expected. It only ocurred to me days afterwards that if using a stick were essential, then using the umbrella would remove the stick; I could remain dry but would have to stay immobile!

we do a lot of walking, my husband doesn't need to use a walking stick all the time but since damaging his Achilles tendon he sometimes needs a stick when walking up hills, this is perfect especially with our unpredictable weather .

I bought this for my mother-in-law,she said that it's just what she wanted. She needs a walking stick to keep her steady when walking and its great for the umbrella for when it rains 2in1. it's quite sturdy and very well made.

I bought this for my elderly dad, its much better than the one he had very easy to use with the press of a button, very strong and great because it can be adjusted to suit any height.would strongly recommend.

Excellent product. Seems very well made. It arrived quickly and in perfect condition. The auto-release umbrella seems to work well. My father is delighted with it and I am happy to recommend it.

Handles too slim, it doesn’t bare enough weight and needs to be flatter to ergonomically fit all hand sizes. However I am going to order another one for my father. Great value for money.

Good purchase but its just missing a wrist strap for me, only noticed when looking at a rail of clothing in a shop and i usually put the loop of my walking stick over my wrist.

Only just started yo use this umbrella and appears to be a sturdy, good quality item. I don't need it as a walking aid, but just a novel difference to the usual brolly design!
