I bought all there of these Villeroy & Boch tea passion mugs, and I'm very disappointed. I've long appreciated the company's porcelain, its nice feel, weight, and the off-white color. So I expected these mugs to be usable. Alas, when I poured a first cup today, and picked it up to drink it, I nearly burned myself, and almost spilled it across the room. I had expected these mugs to be insulated in some way; after all, that's why tea cups and mugs have handles, because they are not insulated, and they get very hot. And this wasn't a tea I brewed at 100 degrees; it was a Darjeeling, brewed at 85 degrees. Imagine if it was tea made with boiling water.
