The Villeroy & Boch 'Flow' breakfast cup and saucer are big statement pieces that will hold the equivalent of a mug of tea (or other liquid) with a little bit more elegance on the breakfast table.They are made of thick white china and I would not really describe them as delicate, but on the plus side they should withstand years of use without breakage.As the cup and saucer are large pieces, storage may be a consideration:* The saucer has an 18.5cm diameter that increases to 21.5cm at the widest point and curves up so that it sits 3cm above the table at the point.* The cup has a 10.5 cm diameter that increases to 14cm including the handle.The top of the cup curves up towards the handle at the back and it is comfortable to hold.

The Villeroy & Boch 'Flow' espresso cup and saucer are elegant pieces that make coffee at the end of a meal a little bit more special. Both are made of fairly thick china, so I would not really describe them as delicate, but on the plus side they should withstand years of use without breakage.I have a set of six cups and saucers and find the cups are best stored no more than two high in the cupboard whereas the saucers can easily accommodate being stacked six high.To a slightly lesser extent than is shown in the photograph, the top of the cup curves up towards the handle at the back.
