My cat, who is around 12, has been ill for months with an autoimmune neurological disorder and kidney disease. As a result of lots of vet trips/ mobility problems etc. she became generally stressed. I tried Feliway/Pet Omega 3, but she continued to show signs of stress. She scratched the door a lot at night, paced around unsettled, and stopped grooming. She was unwell at the time with a urinary tract infection. So it might just have been the antibiotics that made the difference, but I started Calmex about 5 days before the antibiotics and there was a noticeable improvement; she became much calmer. It smells like Marmite/Vegemite, and is a B complex vitamin, it's like cat Marmite.

I use this in the mornings by adding a 1ml dose to my two cats wet food, on the days before something out of the cat's routine is about to happen, ie builders here to do work on the house, taking them to the vet or cattery or bonfire or New Year's Eve night and the dreaded fireworks. It works, but gently in a calming way and I notice the difference every time, it doesn't dope them up, it just makes them more tolerant of the situations they face which would normally spook and upset them. I am now coming up to buying my 3rd bottle and always will keep one in the cupboard in readiness. If your cats only eat dry food, then this will be a problem to administer as I believe it works best mixed in with wet (fish)

It smells herbal but when I mix it in with my cats food he doesn't leave a drop my vet recommended 1 and half in syringe twice daily for him or you can give straight to your animal too whatever is bestMy louie had been attacked from seaguls and was a nervous wreck going outside now we have moved hebis like a different cat feliway plugs in recommended by vet and this meds he is on second bottle ...poor wee soul has been through so much he is so sensitive ....i recommend this highly for your nervous fur baby ...I also purchased from here to try these collars never had then or any collar before and it's to calm them too they are lavender and camomile and wow what a lovley smell so it's all good

My cat was going through a series of urinary blockages which result in nights in hospital, invasive surgeries and, besides the horrible toll it takes on our cat, it’s also very costly.Calmex really helps us elevate the stress which can lead to urinary blockages and crystals in the urine. We tried to mix in with food but he rejected the food. We have to shoot it directly into the mouth. At this stage he just gives in and takes it. Would recommend to try. At the cost it is a safe gamble to take.

This is the only stress relief product that actually worked for my cat. My 10yr old cat couldn't get along with our new kitten and as a result she over groomed herself and looked so ill and emaciated. After trying all the other calming products, the vet suggested Calmex. We gave it her with every meal and after 3 wks there was an obvious improvement with her coat and disposition. Would recommend it over all other products.

This product is particularly helpful as our cat suffers from noise phobia and separation anxiety. We mix the Calmex Cat Stress Relief into her dry food and it helps to keep her calm and relaxed as well as when we give her wet food. The product arrived today (5/8/16), several days early. Marvellous service and delivery. Would definitely recommend this to anyone who has a cat with the problems I have described above.

got this for a very unhappy poorly cat... had seen vet who said he could 'do no more' .. used with other hopeful solutions so hard to tell how useful... however , my cat has now fully recovered... i have not used all of this so am keeping in store in case needed again ... or i might use this bonfire night to soothe the cats.. may work..may not .. but not harmful and nothing to lose bar a few pounds by trying it...

This made my Christmas happen. We tried the Feliway with limited success so were slightly skeptical about the Calmex (which our vet recommended), but it did work on him. He slept most of the journey back on the train (3.5 hours) with the help of this. Best effects if you give directly, about an hour-1.5hrs before travelling.

My cat suffers quite often with stress and her fur comes out in small clumps and calmex is the only medication that works on her, and I've tried quite a few different ones from the vets but calmex really does work, I will always use this on her.

My cat is stressed out for some reason and she have developed some urinary track infection as the doctor said. This has helped a lot to reduce stress. I give it to her from the siringe straight into her mouth, works perfectly.

I personally can't vouch for the taste, but both of my cats eat their dinner if I mixed this in well. One of my cats is normally a fussy eater. This really helped when introducing a puppy to my 2 cats.

Vet recommended this for my anxious kitty, works a bit, not amazingly though.Cat doesn't like taste or smell so I squirt it directly into her mouth with the needless syringe provided

This is the only product that works for my cat when he's stressed out with fireworks...have tried everything else. Quick delivery turnaround too.

Recommended by vet for an anxious cat. Easy to dose.Unsure how much benefit cat is getting, but does not seem to mind it in the food

Really great product. Really easy to administer and has the desired calming effect to help cats through stressful situations.
