Perhaps I've just not been lucky with these umbrellas but of the two I bought recently, one was faulty and I had to apply to Amazon for a refund. The very first time it was opened, it just stayed open and nothing we could do would make it close. It had to be destroyed as it would've been impossible to return.I probably wouldn't have written this review but this was the second time one of this make has let me down in a similar way. I'd bought two a year or so ago and recently, one of them (the one least used) jammed in the extended position but at least with the cover down - it was no use though after that. These two new ones were to replace that broken one with another as a spare and I AM pleased with the one that's alright but am also left wondering how long for.

I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone, supposedly wind proof, after just one use in a blustery shower, it blew inside out and snapped two of the ribs. As an update on my previous review and emailing the manufacturer, the original umbrella had faulty parts. They replaced the umbrella free of charge and this one is much better, it has inverted several times without breaking. That’s why I’ve increased this review to 5 stars

The umbrella arrived just in time for the start of the hottest, driest May Day Bank holiday ever recorded.So I have not tested its wind and water capabilities yet.I bought it to fit in the door pocket of my car - which it does perfectlyI can say that the press button open/close is very impressive as is the build quality.Looking forward for the inevitable storm to arrive so I can test the Teflon..

Very sturdy umbrella, even in windy conditions. Button release it great when carrying shopping etc and only have one hand free. Found putting the umbrella away could be difficult as very stiff, but overall a great buy. Much better than the umbrellas you would pick up on the high street for a similar price. I feel like this will last much longer.

Cannot comment on the outdoor performance of the brolly as it is a stocking filler for my son so won’t actually be used until after Christmas. However so far so good. Well packaged and brolly is excellent quality. Happy with the price paid and communications with company excellent including a follow up to ask if I was happy with the purchase.

Seems like a well made product, kept water off, however on first time use got blown inside out, I thought it might have avoided this drama. It has lived to work another day, so testament to its build strength, other umbrellas I’ve had don’t survive this level of force. Fingers crossed for many years of use.

Nice umbrella and comes with a nice case to put umbrella in which is better than your average one. The umbrella opens with ease at the touch of a button and has extra support in the top of the umbrella so stop blowing inside out due to wind. Will definitely buy this umbrealla again when needed.

I bought this for the wife and she loves the auto function. The brolly has a real nice feel to it and the mechanics all feel sturdy and strong. Most of all it does a great job of keeping you dry and has excelled in the strong winds and heavy rain we have had lately.

For a compact umbrella, it is very sturdy and well made. Much better than your 'run of the mill' compact umbrellas that fall apart after little use. Delivery was prompt and I hope to have many years from this umbrella, making it very good value for money.

Having just lost two lightweight umbrellas to fairly light winds I decided to purchase a more substantial item. This umbrella certainly seems to be substantial and well made but I have not yet had the oportunity to test it in wind and rain

Nice umbrella. Well built. Works in weather that would damage other umbrellas making them useless for when they're most needed. This type of umbrella is essential for bad weather. Flimsy ones simply won't do. Pleased with purchase.

The umbrella is excellent quality; well made, feels comfortable in hand, and as I am disabled, I find this umbrella easy to open and close. I am looking forward to using it as it will cover me and my wheelchair.

I love everything about this umbrella. It's classy and beautiful. Very unique in it's own way. The technology to operate is easy and it's sturdy. Withstands strong winds and rain. I'd definitely buy it again.
