The material on the shoot through umbrella is so thin it's practically useless and the silver reflective umbrella is hard silver not soft and again so thin that daylight, let alone flash light, can be seen through it. The frame is attached by a couple of threads here and there and is so fragile it looks like it would collapse If you sneezed near it. These were on sale for under £11 for the pair, so I thought why not! But I know that these would not last a week with normal use so I'd just be throwing money away. Note: it was cheaper to buy a kit pair than a shoot through umbrella on its own!My advice is to buy an umbrella softbox as your shoot through and remove the diffusion if you don't need
