Absolutely goregous fabric, really shimmery very lightweight. Was bought for a 2year old and isnt too long at all. (well it does go down to his ankles but doesn't cause any tripping over issues.) Good secure Velcro fastening. The dragons scales are nice thick felt and well stitched on and the badge on the knights side is very nice too. For me it's the little details like this that make it worth the price.
