My dog had quite a build up of plaque on her teeth. I've no idea why, we don't give her anything naughty. After speaking to the vet we decided we needed to start cleaning her teeth. Our first attempt was more difficult than herding cats but fortunately there was something special about this toothpaste...my dog Freya loved it! She can't get enough of it. I get her toothbrush out and she goes mad. I can not clean them without any fuss at all.Pros1) Whenever I reach for her toothbrush and toothpaste she gets excited and cannot wait to get started.2) She spends most of her time trying to eat the toothpaste as it tastes so nice3) Her breathe is much nicer smelling4)

We have been using this product for twelve months our puppy loves it and sits still and enjoys having his teeth cleaned, we started at twelve weeks. When our existing tube was getting low wrongly assumed that Amazon suppliers would be a competitive reasonable price, ordered on spur of moment unlike me. Discovered exactly same product at our local garden Centre almost half the price at £2.99So will not be buying this from Amazon again, feel suppliers are misleading by offering free delivery but this is obviously not the case. Misrepresenting their service I suspect that there cost even exceeds the Manufacturers RRP.Only a couple pounds but principle of deception leaves a nasty taste in my

When we got our first puppy 3 years ago I decided on this toothpaste and have only ever bought this brand and flavour. We now have 2 poodles and as they tend to be fussy eaters wanted to avoid the meat/liver flavoured toothpastes. They love the mint flavour and eagerly sit and have their teeth brushed regularly, one of them every night before bed. It foams only slightly and is a good texture which makes cleaning the teeth easy.Daily brushing with this toothpaste has definitely kept the plaque at bay. The biggest bonus is that it smells fresh and clean unlike the non mint varieties!

We own two retired greyhounds, and greyhounds have awful teeth through being pretty much neglected during their racing years.Only answer is to give them a good brushing five or six times a week.They both love Trixie toothpaste and it keeps their teeth looking great.Highly recommended.Also highly recommended is adopting an greyhound from the Retired Greyhound Trust.Make great pets and are quite happy with a couple of half hour walks each day. They do not have the stamina for long walks.In general they very rarely bark, and travel well in cars.Extremely laid back dogs.

MY GIRLIES toothpaste just arrived after I had to send an email, as didn't receive the first one, came quickly , thank you for the response,I am pleased to say my girlies like the flavour, tried a little bit on my finger first for them to lick at, so over the nest week or 2 I will be ordering more if they continue to enjoy and it helps with pooh breath, they don't have bad breath, just like to eat their poop.price is fantastic cheaper than the brand I have been using since I I got the 12mths ago.

My dog loves this stuff, so much so that he almost a gets in the way of brushing his teeth because he's trying to lick it off of the toothbrush. I can't speak for how well it works for people who have never brushed their dog's teeth before, though. My dog has let me brush his teeth since he was a puppy, so if your dog doesn't, this toothpaste might not make a difference. His breath stays as fresh as a dog's can be, and it makes the toothbrush time easy and enjoyable for me and the dog.

i searched and searched for a toothpaste for my dog that wasn't meat flavoured aswhen my mum previously had a dog I used to clean her teeth and the smell used to make me heaveso for my own little angel I was determined to find a nicer toothpaste and then I came across this and to my amazement it was mint!I love this so much,and so does my dogher breath smells lovely after she has had her teeth cleaned and it really does help to keep tartar awaya definite must buy

Began using a small amount of this paste on my finger for my 5 month old puppy to lick off. As Holly licked her nose when finished that means she likes the taste. A pleasant smell I couldn't stomach the thought of using liver flavoured paste on my finger. I then went on to showing her a baby toothbrush which she chews. The next stage which is a work in progress is putting the toothpaste on the brush then trying to brush her teeth before she licks the paste off.

It works really well for my little dog's teeth.I needed some new toothpaste for her as our vet told us little dogs tend to have more issues with their teeth.I love the fact that it is mint flavour as the previous dog toothpaste we had was meat flavour which didn't leave a nice smell on her mouth.This toothpaste was an absolute bargain against others I looked at & it's by Trixie which is a trusted brand.

Pleasant to use - mint flavour and smell - and my two dogs seem to like it .I previously used a liver flavoured toothpaste which the dogs liked but which gave them dog breath !This is more human friendly and seems to work fine - but I will need to wait a while before I can tell how effective it is against tartar build up .Hence 4 stars rather than 5 .Not the cheapest toothpaste but I would buy it agaln

Dogsy likes it. I scraped his teeth with the stainless hygiene dental very sharp pack from amazon and cleared nearly all the horrid hard and often green plaque as we had been neglecting his teeth. Now we brush a few times a week and keep it away. Normally dogs have to be sedated for the plaque removal but i tried it while he was laying down and he seemed fairly relaxed and calm

I got this as Ive just started doing my dogs teeth she is 4 or so (rescue dog) She has been Ok with the first one I got which was meaty flavor , but she really likes this and I can get into doing her back teeth with this . I use a finger brush which suits us better . I will be getting this one from now on, as she was actually wagging her tail when I did her teeth tonight!

It is working wonders for my dogs teeth and his breath is smelling a lot better good on the value better than the one we were getting from pets at home and this one is cheaper and you get more in the tube and the toothpaste is thicker than the one which we were getting the other one was more like a water this one is a lot thicker so you don't waste as much

My greyhound has to have his remaining teeth cleaned on a daily basis. As he is blind taste is important to him and he seems to like this flavour toothpaste and let's me clean his teeth quite happily. I have noticed that he isn't getting any tartar building up as long as we are consistent in daily brushing. So I would recommend this product.

it came by return of post amazing, but I have to say it does not smell very minty, unfortunately you cannot get mint toothpaste for dogs in your local pet stores anymore. We have a 17 year old collie, paid a lot of money to have her teeth cleaned and breath is beginning to smell again, so needs some help, (not for her but for us!)
