I bought this product to go on the edge of one of our armchairs which our cats have been using as a scratching post. It covered up the damage done and also looks smart. Even though it is designed to go on a wall, this product was fairly easy to attach to the chair (with a couple of well places nails) and the cats now queue up to use it, it's a perfecr height for them and very durable, plus it came with a bag of cat nip to encourage them to use it which drove them WILD with excitement. I can recommend this to anyone with a cat that likes to trim its claws on things it shouldn't.

A good size, but the two top fixings/straps resulted in the bottom of the board hanging away from the wall. Overcome by screw fixing top and bottom through the board itself. Be careful doing this as if using a power drill the backing furry material catches on the drill bit and gets ripped. The catnip in a sachet was a nice touch even if the nip did fall to the floor rather than stay on/in the board itself, we purchased a catnip spray separately that our cat loves and it has encouraged her to use the board. Pleased with the product generally.

I caught my cat clawing at the wall paper next to the front door, which made it look really tatty, even though there's a perfectly good tall sturdy scratching post only 1metre away (grrr). There was just something about this wall that would only do for princess puss, so I fixed up the wall by gluing bits back and a repainting it, then screwed this product to the adjacent wall and she loves it. My cats happy and my wall paper remains unscratched.N.B. Only comes with 2 screws but I used 4 (one in each corner) to really fix it well.

Well made item. The cat knew what to do straight away and he is really pleased with it. I ended up not fixing it to the wall as the cat was happy enough to scratch it when it was lying on the floor, so I saved myself a DIY job. (Also he also tends to get himself 'hooked' on things like this so I saved myself time unhooking him in the future...). I wish I'd got one sooner. I think it is better than a mat for using on the floor as it is hard backed and it doesn't move around when he is using it.

My cat keeps thrashing the corner of the bed and ruining the wood so needed something with cornering such as this. Came with some tiny nails (probably use something more robust should I have wished to hammer it in) but lashed it to the side of my boat and let the cat attack it at his whim. Seems to do the job, and the cat is as angry as ever so win win. May buy again for the other corner but seems to favour just the one side.Conclusion, would buy again if my cat chooses to be ambidextrous.

Just love it! My cat was always sharppening it's claws on my couch, and ever since i bought one of these it felt magical! no more scratching other than on this board. Comes with a little bag of catnip so scubbed it on the board and my cat fell in love with it. The only problem is the fixation. no way the two screws that came with it could fixate it. Added an extra 2 srews on the down side so it stays sturdy and doesn't fall when the cat is scratching it. Definitely recommend it to anyone!

The item is heavy and thick which is great however there are only two top couplings for securing to the wall, when attached to the wall by just the two couplings it comes away from the wall, I drilled a hole in each bottom half and secured to wall and problem solved, if you should need to do this, please snip the fabric first with scissors or you will ruin the fabric as it will get caught up in your drill bit and tear

Bought this because the cat had chosen my stair wall as his favorite place to scratch.He adores it! can get his claws right in to the post and it covers the mess he made of my wall.Only problem I have with the product is it only comes with two screws, for the top. I had to put anothertwo in the bottom because he didn't like it when it moved.Once I had added screws...He loves it and my wall looks much better!!!!

Saves the cats stratching heck out of the walls, I can't easily drill in to the walls where I live so I stuck it up using no more nails and it's stuck fast although only the top of it is really fixed to the wall, Still, the cats use it though mine still do attack the walls around it except for one

This scratching corner unit is very well presented and fits easily to my corner wall where my cat has taken to scratching. As it has only just been put up she is wary of it, but hopefully it will do the job. If it doesn't, then it is not because it is inferior but because my cat prefers walls.

I have four cats and needed something to stop them scratching the wallpaper. This item has certainly done that, i was worried that it might spoil the look of my decor but it actually looks quite nice. The cats love it and so do i, what a godsend and at a very reasonable price.

Particularly good as I was fed up of tripping over the previous one as it took up floor space.Fitted easily with the screws provided. Seller contacted me as they didn't have the original colour I asked for - was very polite and helpful. Prompt delivery.

One of our 2 cats had taken to scratching 2 corners of the wall and ignoring his scratching post. We have got this and it is great!! I've sprayed some catnip onto it and my cats just love it. I'm thinking of getting a few more for other walls upstairs

I like this and the cats are happy to use it on the floor. Not sure if it is used on the wall. Fixings top and bottom would be good. When the cats have used it the board has moved. Whether that bothers the cat I have not decided.

We have an indoor cat. So bought these for fastening to the end of the sofa to encourage her to only scratch in a designated area and thankfully it worked. Very sturdy and considering the use they get have lasted well.
