I like it, think it's well worth £5.99 I paid for it. Comes with a little bag of dried catnip that you scatter across it (it falls into the small holes). I saw this type of thing on My Cat From Hell, a programme on Sky with the fabulously named Jackson Galaxy who coaches the human pets of problem cats. I have 3 happy cats but thought they may enjoy this scratch pad come bed.Our more antisocial, nervous cat Mavis was intrigued by it, had a scratch & a sit.... and it's now a regular pit stop for her, and the other two had a sniff but aren't interested. At the price, I'd recommend trying it - a week or two in & all 3 cats are using it multiple times every day, am v pleased I bought it

I’ve had cardboard scratch boards before and my cat likes them but this was a bit smaller than I expected.The added bonus of some catnip included defhelped to peak his interest and he has been having a good rake at it but be aware that the catnip falls through the holes in the cardboard so a lot will end up on your floor.It also creates a little bit of mess when the cat rips some of the paper away.Next time I’ll check my sizes and get something bigger as my cat likes lying on these sort of scratch mats and this is too small for him.Price was the most reasonable of this type and size.Hope you found my review helpful

This arrived tonight so you'd be forgiven for thinking this item is prematurely reviewed and perhaps it is as I've currently no idea how long it'll last! However, I'd literally just unwrapped this and sprinkled some (admittedly probably accidentally half) the enclosed catnip on it before our kitty was on it, treading chewing clawing and rolling on it and soon enough using it as a settee. I've owned a few cats and know only too well how unimpressed they usually are by anything you buy them but I'm nothing short of very impressed by this! Will definitely buy another once this one's destroyed.

We were flooded two weeks ago and since then our house has been topsy turvy and our Zelda hadn't had as much room to do her thing. She's been getting a bit scratchy on floors and walls so we thought he'd get her another board for the temporary situation.She knew what to do with it immediately and she loves to roll about on it with her toys and lie on it watching bird videos! It's sturdier than other cardboard scratchers we have but I can't say how long it will last - that's obviously very cat dependent! It's doing the job for now and she's happy with it! ?

The cat definitely loves it, she even sleeps on it on occasion. She's relatively small and just about fits on okay for sleeping. The first photo is after 7 days use. I don't think it will last too long, but the fact it can be recycled means I'm not too worried about that, just constantly clearing up tiny bits of cardboard. Overall I do recommend, will be buying another when this one is past it. I didn't realise it came with catnip but that went straight in the bin as my kitty is mad enough.

We recently adopted our kitty so we got the basics prior to her arrival at home. One of them was this scratching board. She absolutely LOVES it! She scratches it, bites it, sits and lays on it like a little cushion or rock. It's doing pretty well considering she loves to chew on cardboard. It comes with catnip but we even if we didn't add it yet, she loves it a lot.When she finally destroys the one we have, we will definitely order another one! Thank you!

Never had something like this, but thought, for the price, it was worth a shot for my 15 year old house cat. She took to it straight away and started clawing it, totally content. I did add the cat nip a few days later but to be fair, my cat isn't that fussed by cat nip, and it did go everywhere so I don't add it in anymore. My cat is often found napping on it then waking herself with a good clawing session. Totally worth it

We've now got 2 of these 1 for each cat who love having a good claw then lazing around on it for comfort. When my son bought home the 1st 1 I laughed and said what tat....that won't last long as it's just honeycomb style cardboard and so cheap. It lasted over 6 months and they used to fight over it so for a few quid I got 2 more....it's their fave thing...

My cats love this cat scratcher bed. The cat I bought it for is too heavy and cumbersome to climb the huge scratch centre I have so I bought him this as he's previously loved them but my light and agile bengal has commandeered this for himself which is fun to watch as they both fight for it but I'll have to buy more to accommodate both cats.

Adopted a cat recently and bought him this for his claws. He wasn't interested at first even with catnip as he was v. nervous, but once he settled in more he got into it. It seemed to help to add the catnip onto the cardboard and let it fall into the cracks. He enjoys it very much now and has learned to scratch it up instead of furniture.

It comes with a small sachet of catnip which drives my cats crazy. There is no instructions how to use the catnip so I tipped it all onto the mat which was a mistake because it went straight though onto the carpet. I would have thought there would be a backing to prevent this. Perhaps only a very small pinch would be sufficient.

My cat absolutely loves this. He has never used any of the upright scratch posts I bought hi, preferring the wicker seat of a chair, this produce has been an inspiration! The scratch mat arrived very quickly and in perfect condition, was not expensive, and is exactly what I needed. Will certainly buy another one when needed.

The moment I entered my house with the parcel, my cat started following me as if she knew that it was for her. I think she could smell the catnip inside it. My earlier scratcher had worn out so I bought her this one. She instantly fell in love with it and now sleeps on it regularly :)

I was skeptical about this working as I have (like many) a naughty cat who loves to scratch my furniture and carpets. I put this in the place where my cat pulls up the carpet the most and she went straight for it! She adores it and uses it all the time! Highly recommended!

Cat loves it and has stopped plucking at the leather couches. She sits on it as well as used it as a scratching board. Happy cat and happy owner. Double sided so it can be flipped over instead of replacing it right away. Gives it a bit more bang for your buck
