Bought these to trim my dogs claws, she is a biggish dog and she can grow claws for England! These trimmers are solid and safe to use allowing a precise cut which is so important, they are very sharp and make a square cut with no splitting which my old cutters used to cause.

I used this for the first time today and I was most impressed. It cut through thick nails with ease. It is a bit bulkier than the usual type so it might require some dexterity to use with very small animals.

Most clippers have such cheap blades that they don't trim effectively. This one was recommended by another dog owner and he was right, it does a great job clipping dog nails!!

These are a good product. I have a Staffie who's nails are as tough as old boots. These clippers dealt with them with absolutely no problem. Well recommended. Chris.
