Bought this as a present for my partner and the quality + strength of the umbrella is great. The wood has a nice feeling to it and have tested already in strong windy rainy days and so far no problems. Opening and closing of it is easy as well.The only negative is that I still have not managed to get rid of the plastic wrap it came with that covered the wood. They put the plastic on the wood first and then put the metal plaque over it! The metal plaque is NOT removable, so the plastic is there to stay, permanently!!! Pretty ridiculous I must say! Thus too the low rating.
