The latest installement in the Tiger Woods PGA Tour series has the difficult task in keeping up with the incredibly high standards we have come to expect and in my humble opinion stands proudly at the top of the tree. After reaching the top of my game in TW PGA 2005 i found myself back at the start which was a little bit frustrating however if you begin at the Rivals mode you can quickly improve to your usual standard by taking on the various challenges and following Tiger through the years. This is a great feature for people who are already familiar with the game and those playing for the first time. The new putting system takes a little while to comprehend nevertheless i think it is a better,

After the sucess of TW 05 this year's version of the series is slightly disapointing.The new rivals mode see's you take your golfer through time and is a good addition to modes such as PGA Tour and Real Time Calender.The gameplay has neither improved or got worse. The gamebreaker meter is a good idea but the new putting system is poor and very difficult to master especially on over the top sloping greens.New golfers and courses have been added but for last years gamers Tiger Proofing is gone.The brilliant Game Face is still there and this is possibly the best game for personalising your character with 1000's of apparel items to dress your golfer in.We hope this isn't the turning point downhill

Having played Tiger Woods 2004, I also wasn't sure what to expect from the updated 2006 versions, but I really like it! I like the extra Rivals mode, playing legends from the past, and the other sub-games are all good fun too.Admittedly, it took a while to get going, as I struggled early on myself, but stick with it, and it proves very rewarding. Yes, the putting can be irritating, and I have torn my hair out missing an easy put but, hey, isn't real golf like that? I agree the graphics need to be tightened up, but I supect they were already working on the PS3 version to come, and so left the graphics alone.My advice is to buy and enjoy it, but accept you need to plug away early on, get better,

This game is as much about the comedy as the gameplay. Some of the characters in the game are hilarious. It becomes seriously addictive after a while.The only point I would like to make, and it isn't a gripe, is that this game would benefit from a good 'serious' challenger that is less childish.Still , a minor quibble. I have collected every edition since 2004 and have been very happy with it. I still haven't gotten around to collecting 2007 version. I am getting married this year, so I may not get time !

A great game that does take a while to get the hang of. But that is what you want in a game. The swing action makes it alot more realistic and the putting is great as well. You are always going to miss the odd putt now and again so get over it. The only trouble is is that my 4 year old daughter got a hole in one the other day and I can get no where close. Gutted. A great game to wile away a rainy afternoon.

This years tiger Woods has to be the best one they have done. The new putting is so much better as u have to control the speed you hit the ball with the stick also this game doesn't tell you how many inches left or right you have to put the ball you have to work it out yourself. The only thing which makes the game a little dissapointing is that there is no Phil Micleson.
