This is a brilliant jacket/hoodie hybrid. It's not quite a coat, not quite a hoodie, not quite a soft-shell. If you took a soft-shell, thinned it down by a lot and gave it some zip up hoodie styling, this is what you would get.The weather has been changeable recently and this is where this has come into its own. It has served as a perfect layer underneath the quest jacket when it was a little chilly and wet. It has also acted on its own when the weather has warmed up a little but still had a little chill in the morning air.It is very lightweight and has a lot of stretch. It is also a regular fit so not very hugging on the body, which suits me down to the ground.Whilst probably not totally waterproof,

I tried one of these jackets on in a nearby North Face shop and the fit was ok, a little too short in the sleeves. When i saw this on Amazon priced at €20 less than instore i jumped at the chance to get it and i was very surprised to discover that the sleeves and chest size were just slightly bigger than the instore one. Its fits my big (a little overweight, ok a little too overweight) size just perfect. Another very happy purchase from Amazon

Was a bit apprehensive about the sizing, as I noticed recently that TNF now have different "fits" - active, casual to name a few. However stayed with the large and it's a perfect fit, not to loose/tight, sleeves not to long either. Good purchase and fast delivery from the seller.

This is my new favourite bit of kit! It's crazily lightweight, comfortable, wind-proof and shower resistant. Perfect for spring and autumn, or colder summer days.Sizing is generous, I'm very happy with it.

Light and delicious autumn / spring jacket. Very elastic in fabric. Could easily use it for mountain biking or running.
