I received the Gryffindor tie as a gift, I was very pleased as I wanted it.Now, the tie is 100% silk, I appreciate that, but it doesn't say if it's natural silk or not.The price. Although I didn't buy it myself, I think the object is a bit expensive for it's value. The only reason for its expensiveness is probably because it's an official Harry Potter merchandise good. It's certainly not because it was made in Europe/America, it's made in China, although I don't know where but we all know China doesn't have a very good reputation when it comes to salaries in the manufacturing industry or the working conditions. I am not making accusations here, I'm just saying.

Very expensive but absolutely beautifully packaged and a lovely tie. They've really invested in making a tie any Gryffindor would be proud to wear...Can't really fault the presentation or quality. It did make me wonder who exactly buys such a thing. Then I realised the answer to that was "Someone like you..."One of those moments of existential angst that swiftly passed, fortunately.Super product. If I am ever again in need of a high quality, beautifully presented, tie from an imaginary school of wizardry I would certainly buy again.

I got my son this - as requested - for xmas. It came just in the nick of time, however it wasnt a surprise due to the name of the company being stamped on the packaging. Once opened at xmas it was accompanied with a sharp intake of breath and a WOW. Very satisfied and happy teenage boy.
