A Truely Beautiful Chess set, well constructed and detailed in every aspect. Not for children really only adult Collectors. I have the expansion pieces presented in two boxsets to compliment this set and all together with the pieces on the board and placed in the alcoves around it to make a very handsome set. However I have given only 4 stars for durability as you do have to be careful with the pieces but this is to be expected as you should not throw around these well crafted pieces. I think the price tag reflects the effort which has gone into it's construction. It is not cheap but well worth the price tag.

Absolutely outstanding. I wanted this chess peice as both a collectors item and as a display peice. It serves both those roles perfectly. The quality and details of both the figures and the board capture the epic appeal of The Lord of the rings superbly. For anyone lord of the rings fan, or chess set collector, this is a total must have

I bought this as an investment, along with another Chess Set, for my grandchildren. Unfortunately, none of them plays chess---yet! But, this set is so stunning, it will be worth so much more than money; it will be an historic reminder and a treasured possession in years to come.

i car`nt believe it came so fast the supplier gets 100%as for the chess set , it was brilliantly packed and the set is worth every peny,it's pieces are as you should expect ,, supperblie made and the board is brilliant ,need i say more ... thanks ...

Arrived safely and undamaged. A pity the pieces aren't marked in some way, as it's not easy to distinguish what the pieces represent, i.e bishops, king, etc. a leaflet would have been useful.

Fantastic craftsmanship. A stunning piece, well worth what was paid. I'm a fan of everything Tolkein and this will take pride of place in my collection.

It was a 21st Birthday Present and for my grandson who thought it absolutely fabulous. The workmanship was exceptional.
