This chess game is a good buy, has a wide range of levels so is suitable for both those new to the game and those that are more experienced. On the lower levels it sometimes makes stupid moves but this is a good idea as the player can find his own level and is not put of because it is too good.I am quite pleased with the game but it did lose a star because the pieces are not magnetic while this is not really a problem as the board while not full size is a reasonable size. If you have allot of your men close together and knock one over it can be a little difficult to stand back up if you have big hands.Other than that I am happy with it and it is certainty worth its money

My son always wanted to learn chess, so I purchased this as he could learn whilst playing against the computer. It has a hint button, which is handy when young people get stuck. Children younger than 7/8 will probably need to be shown how to set the board up and given instructions on button functions but overall I'd say it is easy to use for a child. Will recommend this product to anyone who wants to learn chess.

The program has a fide elo about 1300 (1800 Manufacturer) with various levels (no display whit clock) and styles. It may be good for newcomers and beginners, also for weak club players.Nice design and beautiful lighting effects with transparent pieces.

GOOD CHESS BOARD BUT A LITTLE DISAPOINTED THAT WHEN PLAYING 2 PLAYER MODE IT DOES NOT LIGHT UP OR MAKE A NOISE TO LET YOU KNOW THAT THE OTHER PLAYER IS IN CHECK OR MATE LIKE OTHER ELECTRONIC SETS DO OTHER THAN THAT ITS A GOOD BUY

Already written on a different page but I am very impressed with it and my 13 year old grandson plays with. It constantlyIt was beautifully wrapped with plenty of bubblewrap and protective wrapping

So far so good. My 9yo is impressed with all the lights and how he can now play against himself/computer. Arrived in good time, well packaged. Pleased with our experience and purchase.

The board is good but don’t even bother looking at the pieces just order new ones straight away as they are rubbish
