I got this to try and sort my pump which was not operating as well as it used to do. When it arrived I googled to see if I could find out how to replace the worn parts of the pump. There was a very good video which showed how easy it was, which was a blessing for me, as I am hopeless at mechanical things. Following the instructions I had the faulty grommet out and the replacement fitted and now the pump is operating like new. Far cheaper that buying a new pump and if I have to replace the part again in the future, I will have no worries how to do it and if I can do it, anyone can do it.

When the air stone isn't bubbling as well as it should, the rubber diaphragm in this Tetris pump has developed a little split. If the rubber diaphragm was available on its own it should cost about 30p. There would be 15-20 minutes of fiddly work to fit it. Installing this kit is less fiddly because the diaphragm is already attached to a new moving arm and rubber pivot bush which just slides into place. There was nothing wrong with the old metal moving arm but it is scrap now. Having it that bit simpler makes it cost ten times more than it should but it is still cheaper than a new pump.

This was a revelation to me. Turned my old pump, which I was considering getting checked for asthma, into the youthful young thruster it was. I was immediately taken back to the day when I first derobed it, unsheathed the plug from its protective plastic housing and penetrated the electricity supply by side of my tank. It was a joy. 100% joy.Definitely buy this.

Very easy to install these replacement parts, just look to ensure the valves line up the same way as the old ones come out.on my second set of new parts, had my aps400 for four years now running constantly. It's a little loud, but all airpumps are noisy and this one isn't too bad.id buy the same again when this one eventually dies on me.

Has brought new life to old second hand air pump. Had to adjust it a bit after fitting to stop a rattle but after that pump was like new! It now pumps like monster and one of my gold fish swam into the stream got blasted to the surface and came out blowing bubbles! Now just need a kit for my APS 50!

This kit was far more than expected. The kit contained everything needed to service the airpump for the aquarium. The expectation was only for the diaphrams to be within the kit; Instead it contained the parts for make the pump as good as new again. Great value for money and thoroughly recommended.

Got and fitted this a few weeks ago and wow has it brought the pump back to life. Was quite easy to fit and kit included new diaphragms O rings and mount rubbers. Take care to keep the valve pieces the right way round as you replace the O rings. Pump is working great now.Gannett

Spot on replacement parts kit. I was expecting just the rubber diaphragms but the APS 400 kit includes the rubbers with armatures, the plastic valve assemblies and a replacement filter. All the parts you need to overhaul the whole pump.

A great little kit. My air pump is just over three years old and started to make a loud noise when in use. This kit solved the problem and my pump is now very quiet. The parts are very easy to fit and come with instructions, too.

I accidentally ordered the aps300 kit for my aps400 pump and was relieved to find all parts fitted my aps400, which is now working just fine.

This little kit is a life safer, cheap but great quality and easy to swap with old damaged parts, saves buying new pump!

I wish I had known about this kit when my last Air pump packed up, could have saved myself from buying a new pump

Easy to fit however pump noticeably noisier than with old diaphragm/valve blocks (prior to diaphragm failure)
