Quiet enough for a bedroom once the air has dissolved fully from the filter, it has cleared my soiled 60ltr Aquarium in about an hour, the hardware for the tank is unobtrusive but has black bits, I would have liked a bit more translucent plastic as it's really there not to be there if you know what I mean.It did come with a euro two prong adaptor, I avoid buying from sellers other than Amazon themselves to prevent this problem, Amazon seems to be shipping the two prong ones too so pick up a cheap adaptor.The fittings are great, no leaks and sturdy, I have an inline heater running with the setup and it's working well.My only gripe is with the amount of grease, I am sure it's aquarium safe...

The valve allows me to turn the water flow right down and it keeps the water pristine! I was scared to start with because I have had problems with my fluval external filter being a pain to open and leaked on and off but this filter is really easy to open and close, so far i have had no leaks at all. Some are complaining about the noise, i cannot hear any noise at all. Its silent. You get bubbles inside but thats the same with all external filters, you simply wobble the filter and they all leave through the pipes and its quiet, really not hard to do...

Excellent buy. Always used internal filters (PF2) before, but having had to buy 3 of them in less than a year, my opinion of them deteriorated so I bought this based on someones review about the product and would never go back to internal filters again. This is easy to set up, easy to maintain and very quiet. My water is now the cleanest that it has ever been. Definitely worth every penny.

Fantastic product, no complaints.Product has lasted 2 years 6 months into the 3 year guarantee. Unfortunately it Started leaking. after a vague enquiry to tetra they replaced the unit no questions asked and it arrived on my doorstep within days - absolutely amazing customer service and completely exceeded expectations.Highly recommend the product and the customer service

More compact than my previous pump, so fitted in the storage unit better, it is louder than previous pump and doesn’t come with uk plug (2pin razed style) description does not tell you this.Flow works well and water cycles and clears quickly. Priming was bit more difficult than expected but once going a decent flow rate was achieved. 9/10 due to plug and noise levels.

Very good filter. Is currently in use on my 60L tank. The tank contains 2 pygmy puffers and 3 otocinclus. The filter handles the bioload produced very well keeping the water turnover per hour good and all parameters in check. If a very quiet running filter. Would even say that it is silient. I can not hear it at all whilst in the room with it.

Brilliant filter. Easy to prime, incredibly quiet. Only set me back £42 and seller even replaced EU plug with UK plug! Fantastic customer service and really appreciated

Amazingly quite does a great job have too keep checking its working so quite compared to my old internal filter
