Arrived in nicely branded, but thin, cardboard box. Inside you'll find a nice, sealed, with Razer sticker, grey metallic padded bad. Inside that you'll find the headphones. The microphone and power cable are also in the same protective bags. So the internal packaging is certainly much better than the outer. You also find the instruction sheet and a couple of nice Razer stickers.The cable is made from a rubbery silicone out and is 1.3m long. It is tipped with a standard, gold plated 3.5mm jack, which can be plugged into any device that takes that e.g. mobile phones, tablets, TVs, PC/Laptop and the PS4 controller. This product is actually a niche product for gamers, but if someone wants a headset, this one works well. Most (perhaps all) gaming headphones these days have an integrated microphone, but while that is fine when you have to use headphones, what about when you're in front of the TV and able to use your TV speakers, soundbar or surround sound but still want to use voice comms? A headset is the answer, and the Razer Tetra is an upmarket one.Although this is specifically a PS4 headset (with discreet branding on the headband) this headset will work with anything with a three-pole 3.5mm socket, including older iPhones, so it can be used in various contexts.

This is a very handy headset that can be used on the left or right side of the head. Soft padded ear piece and very protective microphone. Extremely light and although I've only handled the headsets that come with the xbox I can feel a lot more quality and sturdiness in this Razer product for sure.The main pointer for me is the fact that this is 3.5mm adaptable to mot gaming needs - The Razer Tetra works perfectly on your PC, PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and mobile devices with its 3.5mm jack!Sound is great and the mic long enough for most head sizes as well as working as expected.The current price is £31.61 and if I had paid for it id be very happy with the product.

It's a good replacement headset for the one that comes with the PS4 because it has the exact same functionality and is mono sound for chat in one ear, only it's an over the ear style one with a better microphone that is positioned close to your mouth and is supposed to reduce ambient noises. If you follow the instructions and have the microphone rotated the correct way because it has two sides, and you need to look at the microphone underneath the black sponge covering it to work out which way to rotate it depending upon which ear you wear it on. It's comfortable, light, seems well made and is officially licenced by PlayStation.

Razer Tetra headphones once again Razar have provided a good quality sound. I like this headset as even though its branded for PS4 it can be used for a 3.5mm socket, I can use it and still be mindful of what’s going on. The negative I do have is that the padding could be better, so if you wanted to wear something for a long time on the regular then maybe this isn’t for you, but if its for only a couple of hours, or as an occasional user then this is the one for you (alternately you could look for a better pad). Razer always do great quality products and this one didn’t disappoint.

I wasn't overly impressed at first glance, however, my opinion quickly changed. The build quality is superb and they are really comfortable to wear either left or right side. These would be ideal not just for gaming communication on the PS4 but for Skype calls or mobile phones. The voice reproduction from the boom arm cardioid microphone is very good for voice recognition software. The price was a little off-putting but these are not Poundland rubbish these are possibly the best Wired Headphones fit for purpose and you will appreciate them once you try them out.

So good! Plug and play - nothing complicated to set up. It’s comfortable to wear and has a volume control on the cable which is useful. The mic is on a mini gooseneck so it’s easy to get the mic close to your mouth. Reversible which is handy and the cable is long enough if your say at the computer.Really good. Very pleased.Apparently this brand is a gamer brand so my children are also impressed. Worked as a conference headset for me... probably less exciting than what others used these for!!
