A very fine model that can be assembled as a number of different ships in the class. It is a waterline model so there is no 'bottom' and it is designed to be placed on a flat surface to represent the sea. There are a lot of parts so patience and care will be needed for assembly but I have no doubt that a superb model of an escort carrier (American or British) can result.A nice project to occupy the Christmas period perhaps!

A great kit. I turned mine into a Royal Navy version. One of my uncles served on one of these carriers in WW2, so i made the ship he served on. The model is only about 9 inches long , so it doesn't take up much room.

I've built one and this is typical Tamiya. It assembles easily but there are many small parts. Looks impressive with a deck load of aircraft.

Perfect. Love this one. The detail is OK. Not very long boat but the quality of definition is very impressive.
