For the money a very good product. I have only given it 4 stars due to issues with the packaging and assembly instructions.The box in which it was delivered was poorly taped up (standard cellotape rather than a stronger parcel tape. The box had come open but, luckily, I believe everything that should have been inside still was. The instructions were particularly poor and I resorted to pictures on the box and from the internet.The product itself, once assembled, was good value for money and has, so far, transported a bike all the way from London to Edinburgh without mishap. One minor failing in the product is that the padding on the arms supporting the bike does not extend the whole length of the arm meaning that the bike could rest on the metal structure.

The instructions on the box were in such awful English that I took a photo & posted it on facebook so all my friends could have a laugh! It took us an hour to work out how to attach it to the back of the car but once fitted, it's great. I would definitely recommend this product - very well made, strong & works well, no fear of it coming off along a motorway or anything like that. Bike fits on easily - supplying a bungie cord with it might have been an idea.

Really happy I took the risk on this product as the photo isn’t helpful. It fits my car perfectly, feels nice and strong.There is no security so if you are leaving your bike on the car, use a bike lock. It comes with 4 ties which are ok but I found something else to hold the bike down.I didn’t check the instructions as it’s self explanatory on how to put it together (I’ve had a similar one years ago so had an idea already).

A good quality purchase, you do require to 'play' with the straps and buckles to obtain the required safe and secure position, I am securing it to a 4x4 rear mounted spare wheel, I also purchased a couple of ratchet straps to secure my mountain bike and additional piece of mind. Still at a total cost of £33, postage, rack and straps, I am not complaining, I would recommend, also fits my BMW3 series boot.

Carries 2 bikes easily but is a bit fiddly if they don't have cross-bars unless you have an adapter, and it's worth having something soft available to stop the pedals from fouling the car's paintwork. Although labelled "universal" it is NOT suitable for cars that have a a spoiler at the top or above the rear door.

Just what I wanted. It fits high enough on my Ford Fusion to show the number plate even when there are two bikes on it. Fitting is easy and takes not time at all even for this 70 year old woman. Pity that the company delivering it let the whole thing down but that is another story!!

Was expecting this to be difficult but once we figured it out the second fitting only took 2 minutes. Annoyed it didn’t come with straps for securing the bike so that was another £10. Otherwise a good buy. Bike felt safe and secure, would wrap something around the pedal though

Exactly as described, arrived even before the estimated date range given by Amazon, dead easy to put together (comes mostly assembled) fits right on my convertible, does the job. Quality product at an economy price, excellent value for money.

Bit awkward to get on the car and the instructions are not very clear took a long time to get right but very sturdy. Ties are no good three them away and got proper straps

I had to use the picture on the box to put this together! The product itself is excellent but definitely room for improvement with the instructions.

Excellent product, purchased for a Ford focus hatch, easy to assemble and fits like a glove, carries two bikes no problem.

Pleased with item. I use it for a single electric bike weighing 25kgs and maybe could squeeze another smaller bike on.

Easy to put on my saloon car. Had to buy extra straps to fix the bike in place but was very sturdy on a long drive.
