I wanted a re-usable cup that I could fit easily in my small work bag or coat pocket and this does the job. One thing that I like, and which wasn't obvious to me from the photos on Amazon, was the way in which the zarf (cup-sleeve) can be used as a stand. I had imagined that it must do as how else would you put a silicone cup full of hot coffee down anywhere? Some reviewers have noted that the zarf doesn't stay in place - I think it is possible to get it to fit securely but it needs some care. The zarf does need to be moved easily when it's full of hot coffee and you want to put it down or pick it up, so you wouldn't want it to fit too snugly..The first thing I did was to fit the cup with cold water, seal it and then tip it upside down and shake it and only a few small drops of water came out. It's obviously not meant to be used in that way but that seemed a reasonable test.I've found the top easy enough to take on and off and it's possible to screw it tightly. I don't have problem with the the flow of liquid when drinking -- although I've only tried black coffee and water, so it's possible that there might be a problem with a cappuccino. When I have used it out and about more at different coffee shops and have gone through a few months of folding and unfolding I'll have some idea of its durability and will update the review.*** Update September 2018: I've continued to enjoy using the cup and carrying it around in my pocket or bag. The only problem I've encountered is that after I washed up the cup in a hotel room I left my zarf behind. The cup isn't as usable without it and there doesn't seem to be a way of replacing the zarf without buying a new cup. So I bought a new cup, transferred the zarf and put the new cup in my draw for when the first one wears out.

I'm a bit of a gadget fiend (when this came through, my fiance told me it was 'so me') - I'm always looking for products that do something a bit different and make things easier/more fun! I carry a small handbag and occasionally buy/take coffee while I'm out. I don't like using the disposable cups because it's such a waste so I have my own little take away cups. The problem I had was that they were usually too bulky to store after I was done with them (even the really small ones) and they would leak all the remainder liquid you can't quite reach, no matter how tightly you closed them. This solves that problem.Pros:LightweightIt really does fit into a small bag/large pocket when folded up.Doesn'tleak if you close it properly!Saves on waste as you can reuse it and carry it with you - no more need for takeaway cups.Baristas are usually happy to do this for you, there are little lines at the top with measurements so you know how much liquid you're pouring in.Cons:Not really that sturdy so can't hold it between your legs if you're sitting on the bus or public transport and you've got your hands busy reading a book or something.Bit annoying to clean for the same reason as above - but without it being foldable it wouldn't really do what it's supposed to!

Great for travel or throwing into a small pocket on a bag - it won't fit in a pocket when folded down, but if you have any sort of bag you'll be able to find room for this cup. It's easy to clean after use, and if you have to fold it down with a few coffee drops still inside then it won't leak into your bag provided you tighten the lid properly.Fits a 'small' size drink (whatever they happen to call it) from every major chain in the UK (tested at starbucks/costa/nero) and I've never had any problem at independent shops either. If you drink larger coffees then this product ISN'T for you though, and it seems like Stojo don't make a larger size yet.The best unadvertised feature of this cup is that a lot of places will give you a discount if you bring your own mug.10p off every coffee from my local cafe means this cup will eventually pay for itself! The only downside is that the zarf (plastic sleeve to block heat - fun word, right?) included is useless - it doesn't really block heat properly, it doesn't stay on the cup very well (it falls down after a few seconds if you place it on a table) and it makes the cup bulky enough that it won't fit into the cup holders in my car - so I just ended up throwing that part away.

This works well for the intended purpose - meaning I no longer have to get disposable cups when buying drinks out and about. It's well constructed and comes apart completely making it very easy to clean, and thus far I've washed it in the dishwasher with no problems. It collapses down neatly and doesn't drip coffee as you drink from it. After use, you can collapse it again and seal it so that there are no spills in your bag, though I keep it in a small plastic bag to be safe. There are a couple of limitations to be aware of:1) the cup is stable enough when standing on its base or held in a hand, but the base itself is flexible. The first time I gave it to a barrista,he ended up spilling the drink as he pressed down on the cup and it flexed. This isn't a flaw, as it's essential for the cup to be foldable, but I wouldn't recommend this product for someone with mobility issues.2) The cup isn't insulated, so hot drinks don't stay hot for very long. It's no worse than a standard takeaway cup, and again this isn't a design flaw, but something to be aware of if you like to nurse hot drinks for a long time.

Performs really well. The collapsible rubber doesn't smell/taste, and is less thermally-conductive than thin rigid plastic (or the plastic-lined paper/card sort of one-use cup you're wanting to stop using)... which means you can comfortably hold it until a boiling-hot coffee or tea is drinkable. The screw-on lid-joint is more leak-resistant than leak-proof, and with the body being squashable once there's a drink in it you have to keep it in your hand rather than put it in a bag, like a flask could be. By contrast, the rubber tab closing the 'sipper' it pretty-much air-tight and needs to be unplugged to easily take the lid on/off or collapse the cup.I can see that the rubber body could be accidentally ripped if you routinely handle it roughly or with sharp nails rather than finger-tips,and/or let keys etc rub against it, but for me it's lasting well (and has already paid for itself in discounts).Having this gadget, that fits in a coat-pocket, has really helped me put my good intentions into practice on a much more regular basis. I'm happy to recommend it.

I usually end up carrying a disposable cup for a long distance because there are no bins between the coffee shop and my house, this can be a pain so I got a couple of these to do away with that. They're really handy, they fold down pretty small so they're easy to carry and you can fully close the lid so they don't leak meaning that you don't have to worry about any dregs spilling into your bag.I found it easy to open and close but my partner seems to struggle with it, I've had to show him how to open and close it a couple of times but he still tries to put the sleeve in weird places.Went through the dishwasher just fine which is handy. My only gripe with it is that it's really small,it can hold a small drink and not a lot else which is kind of a pain. There is a bigger one but it's only marginally bigger and doesn't seem worthwhile so I'm giving the smaller size a go.

This is the only reusable cup that I've ever used, so I can't compare it to other brands. I can say that I use it on a daily basis and the only time it has leaked has been when the lid wasn't fully screwed on, which was my fault for not checking. I now hang onto the lid when I hand it to a barista and screw it on myself. Otherwise, no leaks while drinking and no leaks when I've finished drinking and have collapsed the cup. I carry it in my handbag as it is. It is a little disconcerting the first time you pick it up as it isn't rigid, but as long as you hold it by the collar or sleeve it's great. It washes well and is made of good quality silicon. Plus it comes in a range of cheerful colours.I have it in orange and red.

I wanted a reusable portable coffee cup that would fit in my handbag and this cup is ideal. It is easy to open and although I was sceptical that it wouldn't be secure enough to leave on a table top, the white cuff helps with this by stabilising the cup. However most of the time, I'm using this coffee cup on the go, so I hold it by the cuff anyway and rarely put it down. The material of the cup doesn't affect the taste of the coffee and it's easy to collapse afterwards. When I collapse the cup after drinking my coffee (you don't need to take the lid off to collapse the cup), it doesn't leak as the lid has a 'stop'. I love this cup and it's always in my handbag ready for my coffee fix!

This product is great if you’re looking for a high quality, collapsible flask/mug to carry your hot drinks. I was in need of a flask that I could collapse as I’m regularly travelling. The collapsible feature works perfectly and I personally haven’t had any issues of it collapsing with liquid inside of it. As mentioned in other reviews, I recommend to always hold the white plastic parts of the mug (as designed) when a hot liquid is inside as the pink silicone feels hot. Great product!

I've had my Stojo for almost a year now, and I'm very happy with it. It's not showing any signs of wear-and-tear as I have heard of or seen with other collapsable cups. However one watch out is to beware of the smell, as this lasts even after the cup is clean - and it's a strong smell of whatever you use it to drink. I mostly use it for coffee or smoothies so this doesn't bother me, but if you plan on a diverse set of drinks/water... get ready to confuse your taste-buds.

Not only great for the environment but economically too as I always get discount for using the cup. It folds down perfectly to not take up much room in my bag and doesn't burn my hands. The only downside would be the smell of the drink lingers. Usually, I only use it for tea but I did use it for a few festive coffees over the Christmas period. Even when rinsing and washing a number of times, the coffee smell lingers, as does the taste to a lesser extent.

Brilliant product. Bought it to save on landfill. Folds down enough to stow in handbags, so I'm never without it. Great colours. Rinses clean easily You can put it in the dishwasher, but I got a taste of the detergent afterwards so I don't do this personally.Friend's dog took a liking to it and chewed it up. Went straight home and ordered another. Would be nice if the item was cheaper but I guess you get what you pay for.Highly recommended.

I bought three of these before we went travelling and have used them lots on holiday. The size is great for a standard cup of tea or coffee and we have used them lots with both coffee machines and at coffee outlets. They hold their shape well, are easy to wash and carry. They fold down nice and small so you can carry them around easily. Lets get rid of lots of unnecessary plastic and use these instead, they are great!

This is a great cup, it folds up really small in my bag, and is very lightweight while still feeling sturdy when used. It's a nice size and shape to hold, and the lid is a nice shape to drink from. The lid is slightly tricky to put on, and can cross-thread if you're not careful, so it's worth practicing a few times with the cup empty to get a feel for the catch before you try to do it with the cup full of hot liquid.

Handy to store in your bag and it makes me feel good to be doing a little bit for the plant to reuse/recycle. One drawback which can't be helped however just making you aware. One needs to delicately handle this (no running for a train, tube or bus) when full as squishing the hot silicone part of the cup will result in your hot drink spurting out of the top. Overall good design and nifty spout stopper feature.
