So far I have got two of these. After I got the first I realised that you won't really find better portable storage unless you go for a DeWalt Toughsystem box (got one of those too and it's utterly brilliant).This box is great for a few reasons:1) Strong but light. Much lighter than the Toughsystem box I have but I'm confident of giving it abuse and it being able to withstand it. I wouldn't run over it with the car but it's very well constructed.2) The cups lock in place. There are little groves in the lid that lock the cups in place when closed. This is great because you can take a few cups out and leave space for larger items on a specific job and they won't go sliding around all over the place.The content also can't spill over the sides of the cups, even when shaken violently upside down.3) Metal latches. These are a must, plastic just doesn't cut it. These are well made and operate smoothly.4) Stackable. You can stack and lock these organisers to others of the same kind. In fact, some other items like the DeWalt Impact/Drill driver set also come in an identical case to this and you can lock it to that too. Locking together might not seem like a big deal but it is - being able to carry 3 boxes with one hand yet open things out on the job is fantastic.5) Waterproof seal. Pretty obvious that having one is better than not and you can leave this in the rain and it'll keep your stuff dry. I did some guttering today and had this out in the rain. It protected its contents perfectly.IN CONCLUSIONI can see myself getting some more of these as time goes by. They're certainly up to the task of protecting screws and plugs and other such stuff at a decent price. I love that you can take out a cup as and when you need it and stick a couple together to make things easier to carry.All round fantastic organiser that I heartily recommend.

Just purchased one of these Stanley Max Deep Pro Organiser boxes fromAmazon. Very prompt delivery inside 24 hrs.I agree with the other reviews...it is a very sturdy unit, well designed, and I certainly look forwards to using it for my various DIY projects. However, I also fully agree with the criticism levied against Stanley’s use of a large heavily adhesive macro advertising label across the length of the middle section compartment, which 80% conceals what is in those compartment. Why?.... Totally unnecessary and damned inconvenient. I carefully removed it, but then found it simply left behind a very thick residue of glue, to which all the dust & dirt would adhere over the next 6 months.Charming design! I then successfully removed this glue ( using Isopropyl alcohol) but I was then left with a streaky polycarbonate surface which would not clean up, leaving the stripped ‘window’ very unsightly. I have now had to replace the label and I’ll have to live with it.Come on Stanley...why ruin a well designed, robust organiser with over zealous use of promotional gimmicky labels!Surely the small “Stanley” label in the top LH window tells the world who made this box. That should suffice, OR get your suppliers to use a label which can be removed without causing unnecessary issues to the otherwise very pleased new owner!Thank You.

This item arrived ahead of schedule. It is well made. Made from thick, durable plastic. The hinges are firmly attached. The locking mechanism is firmly attached and is made from low grade steel which allows you to confidently lock the box. The lid is made from tough looking plastic. The box containers inside will last forever with some tlc. The whole thing feels well made and rugged, meaning that it should last for years! It's almost as tough as the DeWalt systems which are the top market leader but at a fraction of the cost. It is stackable onto other, similar Stanley Fatmax products. The handle is a tough one. I can't really find any faults with it to be completely honest. As I said,only time will tell how good this item is but I suspect that it will be a long lasting bit of essential kit and a must have item for carrying lots of bits to and from work. I'd buy another one definitely.

I purchased around 10 of these to organise a mass of bits from copper endfeed, plumbing, screws to cable clips.The organisers are deep enough to get a reasonable amount of kit in. The boxes are removable and interchangeable so if you have more than one you can have mainly large tubs in one and all small tubs in another.The large tubs comfortably fit a standard double socket (UK) and you can fit about 5 in each large tub so these are great for electricians.I have one full of copper end feed. Another full of push fit. One for compressions fittings and one for plumbing sundries e.g. pipe clips.The ones I received have metal clasps and a yellow rubber seal that runs the perimeter of the lid.Thus making them waterproof. Later ones I have ordered have plastic clasps and no seal. I returned these to Amazon. It seems now the metal clasped waterproof ones are unavailable now.

This is the third one which I have bought now. I have honestly not found anything which comes close to being as good as these for the money. Very durable and well put together. Clips to others of the same and shallow build. Removable trays which make ALL the difference... no more scraping into the bottom of the fixed trays trying to get that last nut/washer/screw out! The clear lid makes it very easy for you to see that you've got the right tray and it hasn't scratched and faded which a lot of the others do, rendering the clear lid useless.All mine have had the metal clips on the front and plastic on the side. Other than one of the side clips going missing thanks to a clumsy plumber kicking them all over the place,there has been no breakages.

My partner, probably like countless other guys, has thousands of screws, nails etc., all over the place spread over two garden sheds in various glass jars and odd food containers. When he needs some of these said nails, screws or whatever, can he find what he wants? No of course not, so he goes and buys some more, and that's how he ends up with thousands of the things! Sooooo, I bought him one of these for Christmas. and it's been a huge success!! He loves that it's robust and the storage compartments are a good size. It arrived promptly, well packaged and undamaged. We might end up with more shed space ............... yaaaayyy! Thank you Stanley!

Good, sturdy quality.I like fact that compartments are tightly held by the lid, so so leakage of small items from one compartment to another while walking about with it.Please note I bought both:Stanley FatMax 1-97-521 Deep Pro OrganiserandStanley 197518 FatMax Deep Pro OrganiserThey are IDENTICAL except one had metal clips at front (costs £5 more) and the other has plastic clips at front.In light of this fact, I don’t think paying an extra £5 just for metal clips instead of tough plastic clips is worth the money as there is NO difference in build quality of the two cases.

I have now purchased 3 of these and I am very happy with them, what I like most is the lid closes down enough to prevent items spilling out between compartments so it can be stored up on it's end. I would like the option to purchase different compartments so I can have all small compartments and remove the 2 larger ones. I have contacted Stanley but I am still waiting to hear back. The units clip together so the 3 I have can be transported together very easy, but not something I need to do and I have found it makes the whole unit very heavy when clipped together like that.

I can't recommend this product highly enough. It certainly out ranks the other brands available in terms of build quality. It feels and looks 'quality' and the interior space is very adaptable - boxes can be removed/rearranged to suit. We bought this for our son's birthday. He has been thrilled to bits with it. It is so useful to have something like this, that you can 'just pick up and go' and know that you have everything you want with you - screws, nails, drill bits etc. Highly recommended.

One of the best organisers. The 90% of organisers in the market are generally hopeless. This one is the only one I have seen that doesn't mix and match the contents of each container during car trips. The plastic seems to last longer than other organisers which breack just by looking at them. The handle is simple yet will last, as oppose to hopeless handles you see on other products. So ultimatly, still not the absolute perfect organiser but surely the best I can see around so far.

I bought this to organise all my screws, which up to now have been kept in glass jars on the garage shelf - not easy to take from place to place, even across the garden to the shed! This box, with its fairly deep compartments, allows me to have all the screws in one place and be able to carry them to where they will be needed. The construction of the box is solid and rugged and should last for a long time. Great purchase, and I wish I'd bought one years ago.

I've got loads of these in deep and shallow. I've never had a better organiser and the ability to attach them together makes them very useful for grouping certain things (wall plugs, screws, bolts, plumbing fittings). Makes life a lot easier, especially with removable sections if you only need a couple of bits. Great build quality, thick solid plastic throughout with clear lids to easily see which organiser is needed. Only trouble is the price really.

I already have one of these and wanted another to build a storage system. This is ideal for screws and fixings, as you can take out the container of screws you need and leave the rest locked in the box. Perfect for when you kick the box over - all your screws aren't scattered across the floor and mixed up.Box is very sturdy and has additional flaps on the side to make sure that the lid is properly locked down when carrying it about.

Contrary to all the information on line that says these are the same and that they are compatible, they are NOT. Those reviews are for the USA where the Dewalt TSTAK and Stanley Fatmax systems are essentially the same items under different brand badges. In the UK they are different sizes and they use different clips and connectors and do NOT work together at all. Buy Dewalt or Stanley but don't buy both and try to clip them together.

Brilliant. Need loads of these... Tough and easy, secure opening/closing. Carry loads of screws or nails around without getting them mixed up. The individual sections are easy to move or remove . I knocked one from the roof of my shed full of nails - should have seen it (being bright yellow) but sadly have no eyes in my feet. My only consolation while picking the nails out of the gravel was the unbroken box...
