I have been using this about 3-weeks now it's brilliant. absolutely love it. Easily accessible ,plenty of pockets for all the different bits and pieces Pliers spanners screwdrivers etc hammers fit in the middle upside down no problem... there's a section in the middle that pulls out and goes on your belt with its own clip but to be honest I don't bother using it .I just leave it clicked in place which separates the box into two halves inside.. it's really is great I can't emphasize it enough... I think it was around 25 quid when I bought it...I've had a few technicians bags and tool bags/boxes with pockets and things like that over the years...so far this is best ive had...I'm extremely pleased especially by the price as well...oh I forgot to say I also use the shoulder strap regular which frees up another hand for carrying things.. the handle across the middle also clips off too making the inside more accessible... strong excellent build quality and I think will last me a while.. please take a second to give the thumbs up if my review helps you make an informed choice thank you in advance Mark

A well made bag with solid plastic base and lots of exterior pockets. and some internal tool loops The carry strap can be unclipped from one side for easier access and the internal dividing panel can be taken out and clipped to your belt as a tool holster. The problem with this bag (and almost every bag I have got) is that the tool pockets look good but don't hold the tools as securely as I would like. I sometimes think that the provision of outside tool pockets is really a marketing thing. I never find them to be as useful as they look. I prefer tool pockets to be on the inside periphery and be sized for a range of screwdrivers and pliers so that small and large all have a place and don't fall over.I have ended up making my own pockets for all my tool bags except the FatMax rucksack which has extremely good tool pockets. Why can't they all be done this way?

Bought this, as I am a electrical student and currently investing in tools for later on, and needed something to put the tools in to keep them safe. When I pulled the tote out the box was slightly bigger then I was expecting, but will not cause any problems for me. Already started to fill with tools, finding there are plenty of pockets, even somewhere I can store pens, and some where to store electrical tape (a sparks best friend). There is a divider inside, this can be easily removed by undoing the popper buttons on each side. Both the handle and the carry strap are perfect, the strap will make it so much easier to carry when it fills even further. Handle does have a rubber grip, and the strap has a shoulder pad, to prevent it digging into your shoulder.Would recommend for a DIY enthusiast or for a person of a professional trade.

A really great value tool bag for me as a serious DIYer. I can fit all my essential screwdrivers, spanners, pliers, tape measures, etc into this bag, including a couple of big cordless impact drill or multi-tool, bit most importantly I can find it straight away without having to rummage through like I did my old bag. I used to end up throwing everything on the floor out of frustration but this is organised and everything is visible. I have noticed a worthy difference between this bag and some of the cheaper ones in my local big store is that with this bag the sides that hold the handle up are stiff so the handle stays upright and does not sag. Also the base is tough, waterproof, solid plastic.Im very impressed and pleased with this. Wish I had this years ago - its brilliant

I was looking for a garden tool bag which I could carry round the garden with me while I was working. If you are a gardener you will be familiar with having to go back to the shed get another tool and then another tool while you’re working. Some of my small hand tools are about 70 quid and I worry about losing them in the vegetation. I looked at all the garden tool bags I could see on the Internet. I choose this because it looked sturdy with lots of compartments. My husband is a plumber and he rates this make. When it arrived I initially thought it was perhaps a little heavy. However I have decided the weight is actually an advantage..I can put lots of hand Tools and other bits and bobs in It but I can also put larger items like shears in without the bag toppling over.

As a trainiee spark, I have been looking to replace my simple plastic tool box. I came across this one while chatting to a spark with his own business and was impressed straight away. It is deeper than most of the normal toolbags/totes of this style and has a divider in the middle. There are pockets on the outside and a small zipped pocket. There are some straps inside that are ideal for keeping the essentials to hand rather than losing them under a few other bits. These may have been better being elasticated but then that would wear out fairly quickly. Also supplied is a shoulder strap (useful when climbing ladders!) As with most of the stanley fatmax gear, it's good, well thought out, well made and most importantly strong and should stand the test of time.

I'm a signage installation engineer, i have shed loads of tools in many bags/buckets/boxes of many guises. When im out on a simple fault finding call i dont need all my tools, i just need a few essentials and thisbucket is the perfect answer. Big enough to carry an 18v makita, 10.8v makita, 7.2v bosch plus all the usual drivers, meters, fixings etc etc. But still small and light enough to carry around and get 'up' to the job. Only had it a short while, wish i'd bought more and dissed the big/heavy bags that stay mostly in the van! If you have a van load of tools and only need to take a few of them with you, then this is your bucket.Leave the rest of it in the van and save yourself the legwork!

I use this bag everyday, i think that its quite good but i do have certain gripes with it. The central divider pops out regularly, any gland packs etc in my bag can easily push it loose and spill tools everywhere. The tape chain i used exactly once and hasn't been seen since. It also hangs weirdly off my hip which is annoying if I'm trying to carry other things. However I do like being able to chuck instruments or extra cases in my bucket, it makes climbing ladders much easier. It's got loads of pockets for bits of wire, glands and the other rubbish i carry around everyday. It's also quite sturdy, in nearly 2 years of abuse the only thing that's failed is the tape chain.

Brilliant bag. Hold just enough to get the job done. Not too big so you end up overloading it.i use it for industrial electrical maintenance, so the usual pliers, cutters, wire strippers, insulated screwdrivers. Also 1/4 inch and 1/2 inch socket sets and spanners as well as my fluke t110 volt meter, multimeter and ir thermometer gun. Has a pocket on one side for screw gun bits and a zipped pocket for small parts on the other. 8 pockets for pliers or side cutters etc on the outside, a tape measure clip, electrical tape chain,, also a central divider with loops on it for screwdrivers etc. This is removable if you want to. I really like this bag and for the price a bargain.

I've been using this bag for a couple of weeks now. I also own a fatmax technician bag and an open tote. But of the 3 this is my favourite. I use this 1 for Internal plumbing. I think it's a great bag with plenty of pockets and holders for what I need.I Initially bought this 1 because I needed a Smaller bag but I have to say, this thing still holds a lot of gear.It has a divider In the middle so u can split the bag in 2 which has even more pockets on it.I really wanted to get the velocity Pro bag but couldn't justify the £100+ price tag. So at £25 ish this is an absolute steal. If your on the fence about buying this, just get it, you won't be disappointed.

Excellent toolbag which takes a surprising amount with loads of compartments and retainers. I love these open style toolbags because you can see everything at a glance and also see if anything is missing easily! Minus comment is that the position of the tape measure holder is not great for larger sizes (clase with tools in the external pockets) and it is a bit tight which being Stanley I expected them to consider better. Also there is no hammer loop so I made my own using a velcro cable tie looped off one of the shoulder strap D rings. If they did a mark 2 with those points better adressed I reckon it would be pretty much perfect as a day to day carry all.

Great for all my electrical bits. Got this to use exclusively for my electrical tools. So far its been great. Everything fits and feels sturdy. I had a 2x 25m reels of cable in it and it held up fine. Everything is organised and easy to find. The height of the bag is quite good and surprisingly deep. Can get my drill in wothout out it sticking out. Reading previous reviews about the strap breaking, I've been carrying my bag with a bit more care to avoid any damage (just in case). And if it does rip off I'll just rivit it on or wtv, i mean we are handy men right?

I thought I’d wait a few months to give this bag a decent review, this bag is perfect for what I need in my job as a maintenance tech, plenty of organisations so I’m not fishing around trying to find what I need. The only downside is the the plastic rim on the inside of the fabric isn’t very strong at all and has snapped on both sides in the middle whilst I was carrying it as it could take the weight against my hip. Maybe if Stanley incorporated a strong flexible rim on the inside it would combat this issue. Other than that no issues.

This is my 3rd tote bag from the Stanley range as my other 2 are quite large and I required something a little smaller which I use for all my clean hand tools. There is plenty of pockets and storage for all of the tools I needed it for, the only thing I am unable to fit in is my hacksaw. The base is hard and very sturdy which is a bonus as I work in wet conditions.I like how it has a normal handle and a shoulder strap which is easily detachable/attachable. Overall it is a great little tote bag which met my expectations.

This open tote is great if you like to have easy access and keep your tools organized! don't let the small size fool you I have a decent amount of tools in mine I made use of space there's a fair bit of weight in there and is holding up, I could easily get some other bits n bobs in there still! but I wouldn't like to overload it too much only has one rivet and some stitching on the handle so not sure how much it can take but so far it's holding up! overall it is very well made indeed I highly recommend it! ....
