I had the first generation of this cup but it didn’t last more than a month as the lid mechanism just fell apart and wasn’t dishwasher friendly. Gutted and binned.However a bit of a redesign and the body of this model is constructed to a standard that you would expect from Stanley. The strength of the body is excellent and retains heat for 12 hours so great if you want to make a brew at last light, chuck it in a bergen and you’ve got a hot drink when you come back from a night walk.The lid on this model is perfect. It’s easy to clean, take apart and wash and very robust. A complete near perfect regeneration of the first lid so totally recommend it.I’ve ragged it about a lot and found it to be 100% leakproof for me,

After receiving a Stanley flask as a gift some years ago I now have several Stanley flasks for a variety of uses when out and about and so long as they don’t change their quality I wouldn’t choose another brand (and they seem to last a lifetime anyway so won’t I need to).I bought this one for my coffee on the go. I either make the coffee at home or fill up at a coffee shop.My advice on this cup would be that if you are planning to drink your coffee within the next 2-3 hours let the coffee cool down a little before putting the top on. Being used to my old “coffee shop branded” version of this kind of cup, without thinking I took a sip and “ouch!” after a few hours it was still boiling hot.I’ve got used to the trigger,

I put this on my wish list for my birthday as I was fed up with my selection of hot cups and bottles The cups are undrinkablely cool in less than an hour and having to take the lids off bottles for a sip then close to keep hot is too faffy.I like my drinks very hot; once they've dropped beyond steaming I don't enjoy them. I drink my coffee black and on the first use I took my Stanley to work but forgot it and left it in the car for 5 hours and when I got back and tried it I burnt my tongue! I now add a quarter of cold water to make it just right and it stays just right for hours and hours; Amazing!Haven't tried a cold drink yet, but I imagine its insulating wizardry will do the same in reverse.No heat loss,

Does what you need it to do. Keeps my tea really hot. For a long time. So much so, that when I make my tea, I add a bit of extra milk to cool it down to avoid burning my mouth...this has happened 2-3 times.Lasts about 4 hours really hot and then starts cooling.Feels solid as a rock. No leaks as yet, but you need to drink everything that’s in the top section, as there is a small gap where fluid can collect.My third drinking mug...by far the best.If you need it to cool down, poor it into a separate mug.Warms up on the outside if there’s a fresh brew in the inside, but doesn’t burn the hand. Not too big- fits in my car cup holder.I haven’t dropped it...yet, but if I should,

I use my flask heavily for safe drinks around children and because I can drink bits as I have time. This is the first one I found that you can put in the dishwasher. It comes apart in pieces for cleaning easily, as in the picture.To drink you hold the button in to open a hole. It’s otherwise watertight. I’ll report if that changes. My last (different brand) one leaked after a few months. It also doesn’t have annoying silicon sleeves on the side which move over time and won’t lie flat. It looks quite smart.It still gets brown residue over time. Bicarbonate and vinegar and scrubbing removes the majority of this as with all the other similar flasks. The dishwasher doesn’t.

This flask is outstanding! It keeps the coffee hot from 8am until at least 4 or 5pm. The leakproof structure is perfect for out and about, as well as the one handed push release in the lid. The metal finish is easy to clean and seems very hardwearing. The red / burgundy colour is very practical and attractive. I would definitely recommend for overnight work (work sites, long shift work) - which was the reason behind the choice of this project. Lid can be a little tricky to clean as you need to press the button to ensure you are rinsing thoroughly. But otherwise a fantastic product.

I can not fault the quality of the mug it is easy to fill, drink from, clean and it holds its temperature for as long if not longer than advertised. I've increasingly used it to fill up from my other stanley flask so I can drink it all day with out risks of spilling anything. My only thing I'd like is a lock on the drinking mechanism so you can't accidentally open the drinking bit when it's in a bag but as of yet I haven't found it an issue at all I would 100% purchase again.

This thing is actually unbelievable. Had the old style one but retired it and that thing took a beating.If you pre-heat it with boiling water and leave to stand for a while and then make your coffee or tea in it it stays hot for hours. Absolute bargain at the price and compared to some more expensive models it exceeds all expectations. Made a brew when camping and it was still hot when I got up in the morning.Another exceptional Stanley Product.

Easy to clean, robust, no leaks thrown around in my cycle bag, holds 2 tassimo coffees and stayed hot throughout my 8 hour day. I’ve purchased more as gifts and invested in the French press and food pot too.Initially I thought it was an expensive outlay but I’ve spent a fortune finding the right flask. This was a great investment as I always have a coffee in my hand. I’m so impressed!!

Does what it says, what more can I say, fab! So many of these on the market, I trawled through reviews for hours and decided to trial this one. Glad I did. Since writing this I've had to return one and replace it. Be careful if carrying in a bag. The buttons if leant on will cause the flask to leak. My second cup still leaks if laid down but cant be neaten for heat retention.

Robust, easy to clean, dishwasher proof, lovely colour, few quid more than I would have liked but I suppose you pay for quality. Certainly keeps a coffee drinkably hot for at least 4-5 hours and iced drinks stay icy. Not tested the extremes of this, just wanted a leak proof cup with decent capacity that would last either a morning or afternoon. Perfect.

what more can you say , It's a Stanley , well made leak proof and keeps your tea or coffee hot for ages, I brought this for a friend of mine but I've had mine for ages, use it most days and never had a problem with it, the only thing I'd say the lid can build up and get stained with the coffee so make sure you take it apart and clean it properly

I was dubious that this would keep a hot drink hot for any length of time, pleased to be proven wrong and to be fair kept it a lot hotter than I was expecting almost to the point I didn’t think I would be able to drink my morning coffee until the afternoon, for the best results you do need to preheat it then put your chosen beverage in

Had this for 5 months now, I use it daily and there has been no problems with leaks at all. I use it at work and a hot drink made in the morning lasts until I finish work. It lasts alot longer than my older cheaper thermos one, I've brought another of these for my partner. Easy to clean in the dishwasher, Would recommend

The best travel mug I have had. Easy to use with one hand when driving, just a press of a button.Doesn't leak at all, and it does get thrown around a bit. No bad odour from it after use, unlike previous mugs I have used. Easy to clean as it only has 3 parts. Don't worry about the price, you are paying for quality.
