I bought this as a replacement for a Stanley mug that I took with me most days to the allotment. On the old model the flip-lid was hinged by 2 small plastic lugs, which snapped off (my own fault). The old model also leaked heavily if tipped over and the lid was a devil to unscrew if overtightened even slightly. This new model has a much improved design lid which is much easier to unscrew, flip-lid doesn't rely on flimsy lugs, and will only leak if turned upside-down. I have also found that it keeps drinks hot a lot longer than the maker's stated 2½ hours, so very happy with my purchase.

The mug is perfect in temperature keeping, I have tried it at -12 C , my friend had various cups but they had their drinks cold in matter of minutes.It is bulky in size but for my bushcrafting trips I do not mind the size.

Brilliant mug, keeps a hot drink very hot too hot to drink almost for like 2 to 3 hrs. Alls over and doesn’t leak, solid robust mug virtually indestructible. Should last a lifetime. Well worth the price tag every penny !!

Legendary! I love a large coffee in the morning on my way into work and this is the prefect mug for me.Great size and keeps my coffee hot for a good hour during my commute.Simply the best mug on the market!

I put ice in before bed and there is still ice in the next day even after i have drunk all the water during the night. way better closure than the old version too
