I picked up this accessory because of the low price, £6.50 at the time of writing. As such, I feel this is excellent value for a reasonably good product. As an official Sony peripheral, the racing wheel has the quality I've grown to expect and I found it surprisingly enjoyable to hold (gear paddles and a twisting handle to emulate a motorbike throttle really improve the feel) and responsive to use in-game. However, as responsive as it is, I am so far finding using the wheel a lot harder than just analog sticks and I feel it is mostly because it is not anchored and feels a little odd when turning in thin air.The racing wheel requires a move controller,though not the Camera peripheral (which makes me wonder why there isn't a version available for use with the Sixaxis since it also has motion control using potentiometers) and features all the buttons available on the Dualshock 3/Sixaxis, apart from the analog sticks, as well as the gear paddle and throttle controls mentioned earlier. The handles are adjustable between two positions, as seen in the product pictures.I would say this is a good purchase for those who have move controllers and are looking for something new to do with them, those looking for a racing wheel on a budget or those looking to try a different kind of racing wheel. There are undoubtedly better racing wheels available, but not for anything like the price I paid for this item.

This wheel is excellent! it is a little on the pricey side but so far has worked with every single racing game I have! f1 2011 and 2012 works, burnout paradise works, f1 race stars works, sonic & sega all stars racing works, modnation racers works, dirt 3 works, gran turismo works, need for speed most wanted works, and a lot more in my collection all work, I haven't found a racing game yet that this wheel doesn't work on...It doesn't need the eye camera to use as the sphere is not lit in use, but does need the move controller (sold seperately), fits snugly, is easy to use once you're used to it, it turns every game into a more realistic experience.The paddle gear shifts are excellent on F1 games.It's worth noting that this does not need batteries as it runs on the power of the move controller, also on some games you need to change it to be controller 1 instead of the default 6 which is easy to do anyway. I just wished they'd brought this out sooner...I am lucky enough to have 2 and me and my son play f1 all stars on split screen, which blows mario kart on the wii way out of the water for graphics, accuracy and fun! I know people will say a proper racing wheel is better but this supports way more games, doesn't need a table to sit on or pedals or a racing seat. excellent family friendly peripheral... thank you SONY!

Popped up in a random Youtube search, otherwise I would never have known this existed!It's a pretty good attempt at a steering wheel. Works extremely in Gran Turismo 5, works ok in F1 2012 but that's purely down to the fact the game doesn't have the ability to alter the steering sensitivity (like in GT5) so there's a bit of a deadzone on initial movement. Otherwise, it's fun to use once you get used to the throttle controls. The paddle shift gears maybe could've been a bit bigger but it's no biggie. There's hardly any lag between turning the wheel and the in-game steering.Ok, so it's never going to match the control offered by a wheel and pedals but if like me you don't have a desk to attach a wheel to,then this is definitely worth purchasing. As other reviewers say, you only need the Move for this, the webcam isn't required (I bought a second Move controller from a second hand shop for £19...just sharing the tip!).

Sadly, the Move controller isn't supported by any driving games on the PS4 :(This isn't a failing of the gadget but I thought it worth mentioning as nobody else had.As for the PS3, it's great... The additional controls make the move controller more useful to start with and then there's the wheel / handlebar conversion where the right grip becomes a throttle!Add the gear paddles and this is a great addition to the move controller and about the only reason for using one after Sony disowned the whole motion control thing!If you have a PS3 & a move controller, it's a steal.If you only have a PS4, stay away - the 5 or so games that support the move controller are not driving games :(

Sorry for the cheesy title... but they really are.Price is still a bit high, but the fun factor is worth it.Little Big Planet Karting and Burnout both felt so fun using the wheel (change your wheel to controller 1 to make Burnout work).Just started Need For Speed Most Wanted with it and it's a blast - the light even flashes reb/blue when the police are chasing you.Great product, great fun, build quality is amazing. If it was just a little cheaper I would say it's a must buy - but then again some fixed wheels I've used don't feel as good or have as much rumble.Don't forget it should work on PS4 as well (Orignal Move Controllers are supported on PS4).

Adds an extra dimension to racing games, and a good use for the move controller if you have one lying around. As a highly discounted item these cannot be beaten for value for money as they have the quality expected from official PS accessories. At the price I paid ( just over £3) they are a real bargain if you have a PS3 and enjoy racing games. This works with most games apart from those with unusual key layouts so at this price is well worth a punt..

After a little mishap of my item not arriving a quick email to the seller and I was sorted. Item arrived in the genuine sony box as expected and was sealed. Upon opening I found everything that should be there, wheel, instructions etc. These are great and add a little more realism to your gaming when playing driving games. Highly recommended.

I really did not know what to expect, when I purchased this tool. However it has done all it said it was designed to do and provides a very inexpensive alternative to the steering wheel setup. My lap times improved, the steering was pinpoint once I got the hang of it.Very convenient

Mainly got it for a collection I'm building, but can give arcade games like need for speed most wanted 2012 a nice new fun way to play. I would struggle to say it makes the game easer or better to play with it attaced.

I was skeptical about this working as a steering wheel, but it does. It's not perfect there is slight lag but for the value and my 3yr old its perfect.
