Ordered the age 10-12 for my nearly-9 year old, 137cm tall boy, for world book day costume. It's a good fit, slightly long sleeves but comfortable and loose. I did as another reviewer suggested and opened the seam of the tail and stuffed it to make it fuller - easy to sew back up again even rather clumsily. The tail also detaches and is stuck on by Velcro - I've sewn the tail onto the coat as well, at my son's request, so they don't all muck about at school throwing the tail around...!The material is good, costume seems good quality. Delivered quickly too.

Bought for world book day. Sceptical after reading some reviews- pleasantly surprised when it arrived. I though quality was as expected for the price and son was thrilled. Simple and effective costume. Worse with school trousers. No need to purchase or add anything else. Regarding size- my son is a small 5 year old (smallest in his class) and the size small 4-6 years was snug. He usually wears age 4 clothes of If your child is in age appropriate sizes for their clothes I’d probably go a size up.

I brought this suit for my sons world book day costume. Although he is 8 I followed other reviews and brought the next size up which was 10-12. Was a little too long in the sleeves but everything else fitted perfectly and most importantly he loved it.The only 2 downsides to the outfit were the tail and mask. The tail is only attached by Velcro so came off easily so we sewed it on and the mask could do with a longer bit of Velcro so it is a little more adjustable. Overall looks very smart.

I purchased this for world book day for my 9 year old son who is average height for his age , he is currently in age 8-9 years clothing , as he has a long upper body including long arms i purchased the large size for him which fitted perfectly , he is very happy with his costume and he cant wait to show it off next week , im so glad it arrived alot quicker than i expected .

Wonderful costume. My son won a prize at school for his Fantastic Mr Fox costume for World book day. Good quality jacket.I gave it 4 stars as I think it came up a little small. My son is 11 but not very big and it just fit so won't have much wear out of it.I bought the large sizeSeller was great and received well before estimated date!

Great Outfit, remember that no trousers are supplied though. Arrived very swiftly and good quality for a one off World Book Day costume. My only little gripe is sizing. I got a 10-12 years for my 9 year old (who is almost 5ft tall and big for his age) and it did come up a little tight. But overall excellent and would recommend.

My nine year old chose this costume online for world book day. Great service as it arrived within a day or two and was excellent value considering how often costumes are overpriced. It fitted true to size and looked, well fantastic! The tail went missing (it's on with Velcro) during the day but of course that's the story!

I think the description should be amended to boys' and girls' costume. My 9 year old daughter is thrilled with it. Looks great with her Brownie uniform brown trousers. The face mask is a bit basic - just printed felt - but the overall effect of the costume is very good. Just the job for a school Roald Dahl themed day.

I actually ordered this costume for a school production of Wind in the Willows. Although it's technically Fantastic Mr Fox, after removing the mask and tail, it made an absolutely perfect costume for Toad of Toad Hall as well. Represents very good value for what you get and our Toad looked very dapper on stage.

My son loved his costume. All items were in the package and were of good quality. Although we did have to stitch the tail on as it kept on falling off. I am so glad I ordered the bigger size though, as I think the sizes come up a bit on the small size. My son is 7 and I ordered the 10 - 12 years size. Thank you

This was perfect for a World Book Day costume, and at a very good price, and fitted my son well. It was rather creased on arrival but a cool/medium iron on the reverse helped. The tail is attached with velco so can come off - as per the storyline. Sponge clean only so don't spill anything on it!

Brought for World Book Day for my 7 year old daughter. I was very happy with the quality it will live for another world book day! Like some of the other reviews they are small sized in The jacket is a rigid material meaning there is no stretch. Should of perhaps got the bigger size.

I bought this costume for myself (adult) I usually wear size 8-10 so I bought the biggest kid size and it fitted nicely. I looked great for world book day. Love the costume so much, I was very sad when I realised I lost my tail somewhere between the school ground and my car. :/

Lovely costume. I bought this as a 2 in 1 costume for World Book day. It's a great Mr Fox costume but you can also detach the tail, so I bought a lovely purple top hat and cane and it doubles up as Willy Wonka too! Nice material, came up beautifully with an iron.

Ordered for World Book day for my (small) 9 year old daughter. Arrived well packaged and the fit is good too. I plan on stitching the tail to the jacket to avoid it getting lost and will probably also add some stuffing, but good quality and price.
