I used to love Bosch tools, but I've come to conclusion, you simple pay for brand... Nearly every tool I found from Silverline is 1/3 the price, including this Sander. Even the Silverline/Silverstorm Drum Sander attachments are 3x cheaper than those from Bosch - That's if you can find them that is..I've spent several hours looking on Amazon and other sites, I eventually found Silverline offered a "catalogue" (188MB PDF document) for download, after scouring this, I came across the Product codes for the attachments. Excellent little sander for detailed work. head is adjustable and provision for dust extraction makes a difference. Saved me several hours hand sanding precise edges on a staircase balustrade.Motor gets hot-ish after long use but not really badly (or one could take more frequent breaks)I found a local-ish supplier for replacement sanding drums/tubes and the narrow flap wheel.All in all a good addition to my tool kit. I would thoroughly recommend this product. Good manufacturers guarantee. For what I paid I consder it a bargain!

This has many advantages of use,it's light ,can be used one handed on many different types of materials,,I. Use it for stick making its a big help for the handle rounding and sanding and final finishing excellent I recommend this tool as its well made and strong, at a good price .thanks Ian Mingay

Excellent small drum sander, especially for sanding concave and convex parts. Sanding attachments are quick and easy to change. Machine has adequate power provided you don't put too much pressure on it and let it do its work.

Good product in design, worked well for w time but then some how the sanding wheel wouldn't work when the slightest pressure was applied.

It felt a little clumsy at first but it is ok when you get the feel of it. The drums are easy to remove and it is value for money.

Feels light and cheap but so far its done what i want of it so cant complain. Time will tell how it handles how its handled.

A very good effective tool. Variable speed controller and light enough to hold and use. Ye it is a good product.

Very powerful, easy to use, makes an excellent job. Sanding discs/barrels easy to change. Recommend to anybody.

Good for sanding in some difficult places. I used it on a staircase to remove old paint.
