It's been years since I had a electric blanket( 30 or thereabouts) so having moved house I thought it would be nice to invest in one. I spent some time looking at the different types of blanket before settling on this one. I have to say its been a pleasure to jump into a nice warm bed can't imagine why it's taken me all these years to buy one. This particular blanket is fleece lined so it adds to the comfort level. There are 3 settings to choose from although I have only used setting number 3 which is the warmest one. Takes around 20 to 25 minutes to get really warm. Glad I bought this item. It's machine washable too, bargain.

The reviews I had already read for this did help and have had electric blankets in the past and this is the best one so far.It is comfy due to the fleece and warms up really quickly and stays warm for a long time as well. So far in this cold weather we have had I have not got cold through the night due to the blanket. Before with other ones I would also be putting them on the low setting over night in the cold and have not had to do this with the fleece blanket.All in all a great blanket, my only one thing about it was that the lead was on the other side of the bed to all of the other ones I have had before so had to change my plugs around.

Bought this for my son as his bed is near a window and is always cold. Although his bed is a single I opted for the double option . This has proved to be the best decision as now his bed is totally covered from side to side. Which makes me think that it probably isn't suitable for a double bed and would drfinitely leave cold sides when used on one. The length could be a little longer but my sons happy and thats what counts. His bed warms up a treat and the lowest setting is ideal to leave on on very cold nights. On the whole pleased with the product.

Having recently come out of hospital after a knee replacement op, it was really traumatic that our central heating should break down during the coldest days of the year. While we waited for a new boiler, the house was bitter and we suddenly hit on the bright idea of buying this brilliant heated underblanket. It was a really good price, is amazingly comfortable due to the cosy fleece and has acted as therapy for mind and body! It is simple and safe to use-even overnight , if put on the lowest setting.

this product works amazingly, you feel the warmth within 30 seconds of switching the blanket on, lower setting means you can use it in summer and higher settings for when its biting cold, the fleece lining helps to retain the heat long after the blanket is switched off. Its easy to use, reliable and adds a little extra cushioning to my bed. After a hard day there's nothing better than jumping into a warm cozy bed. Definitly something to invest in for the whole family. Thank you Argos yet again.

I bought one of these recently for my Mum as she was struggling to keep warm in bed. The blanket itself is good quality, very soft and keeps the bed very warm, however the straps that secure the blanket are made from very thin cord & my Mum actually snipped through one of them when removing the tape, thus reducing the length so it couldn't be used! Luckily the blanket is kept in place by the fitted sheet over it, so no harm done. Overall I would recommend this as a good budget electric blanket.

My daughter works long hours and is tired and cold when home. Bought as an early Xmas present she loves it. It heats up extremely quickly which is great and you can also leave on low setting all night. Yes the cotton ties are a bit of a weird idea it would seem better if they used elastic straps at each corner. However saying this since it has been on the bed and just tied moderately it has not moved. Due to the warm fluffy pile no issues with uncomfortable wires. A great buy for the price.

I bought this particular blanket as other reviewers has mentioned that you cannot feel the wires, which was an important factor to me.I am very pleased with this blanket. The fleece means its very soft and cosy. And you don't feel the wires!Has 3 heat settings, we've had it on the highest all the time as it's toasty!Ideally switch it on for about 20 mins before you want to get into bed, and you can leave it on all night (on the lowest setting it recommends).A cheap way to keep warm.

This electric underblanket has 3 heat settings, be careful of falling asleep with it on the highest setting or you will wake up very sweaty and uncomfortable! Heats up very quickly, has cut down on heating bills especially as my room has no insulation. Great sleep aid after an exhausting 12 hour shift. Only negative is that affixing the cover to mattress is quite complicated and not easy to do alone when you're dealing with a double mattress. I improvised and it has stayed on just fine.

Our old heated blanket stopped working so we were looking for a new one. I always go to the Argos app on my phone to check there before I try anywhere else. We found this one and it was on special offer which made the deal even better. The quality is fabulous and it works a treat. We use it regularly so we needed a robust design and this one was great. It is fleecy which makes it even more like a warm cocoon in the bed. I would definitely recommend this to anyone. Well worth the price.

\I have had a slumberland electric blanket for many years and it is still going strong. . This new one is brilliant and very soft, I chose the fleecy one. It is quite large very generous and there are no cold spots.Once you have tied it down it doesn't move at all. It is a very good quality blanket and worth the money. There is only one point really and I think it applies to all electric blankets: why do they have to put the plug connection under the blanket so you have to lie on it.

Love the fleecy fabric, very comfy. But impossible for one person alone to secure the blanket to the mattress with the strings. Also, why is the cable to the on/off switch so long? It goes right down to the floor. Not very convenient when you're sleepy and have to roll right over to switch it off. The photo on the instruction sheet shows the on/off switch positioned conveniently next to the pillow, but if you do that, half the blanket is under the pillow and your feet are freezing!

Having been meaning to buy an electric under blanket fleece for years, I finally got around to it and after reading the reviews settled for this product. It's wonderful, heats the bed beautifully and it's very warm when i get in after leaving it to heat up for an hour... I often leave it on and wake up in the night and turn it off. Sheer heaven. I bought the double one but as I sleep alone the single would have been fine too. Good value for money and very happy with the product.

This is a great electric blanket, good quality - what lets it down is the ties for tying to mattress. The blanket can slip and the ties as they are only thin cord, very long can get knotted. What would make this product head and shoulders above all others is to make it in the style of a fitted sheet ie cotton elastic ares sides ... No more ties ... No more slippage ..... Easy to remove for cleaning.If you ever trial one I would be more than happy to trial for Silentnight .

I bought this product for my daughter as she complained of waking up cold in the night.I have offered to get her a electric blanket on several occasions but she refused because in her opinion only 'old folk' have them.I left it in her room and needless to say she put it on the bed and used it that night. She left it on all night and was as snug as a bug.At work the following day I received a txt from her saying' thanks mum the electric blanket is brilliant'I rest my case.
