I've had the Lloytron for a month now and have concluded I'm delighted with it. Under my fitted sheet I use a memory foam mattress topper and placed the Lloytron under it and was afraid that it would block the heat but it doesn't. About 2 hours before I go to bed I switch it on to #3 then before I hop into bed I turn it down to #1 and leave it on all night. When I first get into bed it's very warm, but then goes down to the perfect heat to keep me cosy all night but not too hot. As a light-sleeper the Lloytron is in fact helping me get to a full night's sleep where previously I would have woken up feeling cold,

I purchased two of these electric blankets for my kids. I don't have prior experience of electric blankets, but the quality of these seems excellent to me - the finish of the blankets and "feel" of the switch is very good.They come with approximately 2 meters of cable - which is certainly long enough for our needs. The blankets tie around the mattress and stay there without problems. The size of the sheets seems fine even to me and I'm 6'3" tall.We try to put them on about an hour before bed & the beds are really "toasty" after that time. Once we forgot and they only had 15 minutes which wasn't quite long enough to warm the bed, but I think half-hour would have been fine.The one negative thing,

I had seen 2 pictures of this color. 1 was quite light and the other was a very deep cream. The picture item I ordered was the light set so expected it to be so, When I first opened the package I felt disappointed to see it looked a dark cream. However, the shading is different when on the bed. The color tends to be in the middle of the 2 and I have to say it looks really lovely. I have enhanced it with red runners & pillows & 2 beige scatter cushions to finish with a red one in the middle. I am glad I did this because I have found that it is more of a Double size than a King size so I cannot fully cover up to the pillows underneath as I need the longest length for the sides and of course I need a good drop at the bottom.

Good value item. My other electric blanket, from a different maker, is 180W max and this one only 60W, which I hadn't realised when ordering. I have noticed that it doesn't heat up as quickly, though it's adequate for me if I put it on early in the evening. It's always lovely and warm by the time I go to bed and at 60W doesn't use much energy. I rarely sleep with an electric blanket on, otherwise I wake up feeling very uncomfortable, though with this blanket on low it might be OK on very cold nights. It is a lot less expensive than others and I can't find many that don't have that awful fleecy lining, which makes me sweat on my back at night and feel uncomfortable, even without the blanket switched on.

I purchased this over a year ago as a gift to my girlfriend who gets cold in bed (as i beleive do most of the worlds female population)I bought a single so it would just cover her half of the bed, which is spot on for us.straight out of the packet there was very little work to do, it comes with ties to strap it down but i didnt bother, we just sit it on the mattress and put the bedsheet over it, it shifts over slightly every now and then but not an issue really.It has three settings, i did think that it would always be on maximum, but to be honest it gets really hot and she usually has it on one or two.it takes about 5 minutes to get up to temperature. the modes on the controller are "OFF, 1,

It's good to have an electric under blanket that is also machine washable/dryable, and that it can be used all night; however, after reading the fine print on the instructions, I see that it is not meant to be used all night by restless sleepers. My husband and I are very restless sleepers, so we cannot use it all night; however, I do use it to warm the bed before getting into it at night. It's a good idea for those nights when hubby feels cold and I don't, so I put it on his side of the bed, lay the pj's on it and then put the regular blanket over that, and let it run for a few hours before bed time. He gets a toasty warm pj/bed to climb into :) Good on energy usage too as even on the highest setting (3),

I work as a Therapist and wanted a cheap bed warmer - the official massage ones are so rudiculously expensive - THIS IS IDEAL!! It is the perfect size to fit my therapy couch, it warms up and gives the ultimate cosy warm feeling to all my clients, who have ALL said it is so nice they don't want to get up! The only down side is that you do have to remember to switch in on at least an hour before to warm up properly and also, and this is a very bad design, it does not have an automatic cut out after a couple of hours of use. I woke up at half two last night remembering I had forgotten to switch it off!!! Couch was so snug and warm, I nearly got on there to sleep! Otherwise,

This is the first time in my life that I have ever used an electric blanket. I am very happy with this one. Although there are only 2 settings I find both the temperature settings are perfect. I live in an extremely cold house with no central heating and the highest setting keeps me toasty warm. The lower setting is good for all night use, but feel I do not need it on all night after being so warmed up with setting 2. I am very happy with this blanket considering the price compared to others. I gave it a rating of 4 instead of 5 as I feel if it was to keep two people warm being a double it would not completely fit to the edges of the bed, but as I sleep alone it is big enough or me.

Me and the Mrs have a super-king size bed. So, that's basically like having two singles pushed together. You see where I'm going with this?I like to sleep in a nice cool bed. The lady prefers the kind of temperatures found only at the centre of volcanoes."So," I think to myself. "How about a single underblanket?"Step 1. Buy underblanket.Step 2. Buy a single memory foam mattress topper. (I shall explain this)Step 3. Fit everything.Step 4. Sigh of relief as the complaining about being cold stops.There are cords (very long) to attach the blanket to the bed. So, being a super-king size, those cords pass over my side. Hence the memory foam topper! It's for me! Half roasting hot, half spongy cool.

After reading numerous reviews on electric blankets I am so pleased I opted for this one. The sizes are a perfect fit for both single and double beds extending from directly below the pillow to the bottom of the bed, the width measurement is also good.Heats up very quickly and has 3 temperature settings so you can choose which best suits your needs.I have 2 herniated discs in my spine and had hoped this product would help to ease the pain. Normally on waking, my back would be stiff and it would take me a while to get moving properly however, after the first night of using this blanket the difference was unbelievable! I would definitely recommend this product!

Ordered the king size but I would say it was to small, even with not putting it under the pillows it doesn't fit the bottom of the bed so have to curl up in a ball to keep feet warm, the second thing is the string to security to the mattress it's pathetic, but as its to small I can see why they have done it like that ?. The third thing is u have a big hard plastic electrical socket to put up with as I've said it's to small so doesn't exactly sit at the edge of the bed out the way. Unfortunately the only plug socket we have near the bed is on my 6-ft 4 husband's side of the bed so can get uncomfortable. Other than that it does keep the middle of your bed warm.

I bought this blanket for an elderly relative who finds it satisfactory. Firstly it is a good length and warms the whole bed. It has a clear simple controller showing a light when it is on - useful to avoid accidently leaving it on, or perhaps forgetting to switch it on. On its low setting it is safe to run overnight - again useful for an elderly person. As with all electric blankets it has a hard plastic connector near one corner, which is uncomfortable if laid on, so I have fitted it with the input at the foot of the bed. Many other reviewers report the same solution. The only snag is that the controller is out-of-reach when in bed.

It's a blanket that warms ya in the wintertime.1. The lowest of the 3 settings is ideal for taking the chill off. Switch it on about an hour or two before retiring usually does the job and is comfortable to leave on overnight.2. Setting 2 will actually 'warm' the bed.3. Have not used setting 3 as I don't live in Norway!!4. When it's fitted to the bed the wiring for the controls enters into the top left as you look at it but is long enough to go under the sheet and come out on the right. The control will then be under the sheet on the right but this does not cause any problems and can still be easily used.

Reasonably priced electric underblanket. Needed for single bed in guest-room. Bed situated in corner of bedroom with two external walls adjacent, so coolest spot in room. Has now been in use for couple of months through the winter and can now report that guests have been warm and comfortable when using it. Decent length and width, so adult sized body extremities are not in cold zones. The low heat all-night option is a bonus. Slight mix-up between delivery and invoice address, but was not a problem as arrived at the invoice address shortly before leaving to visit invoice address, so was able to take with us.

Am I allowed to say that this actually gets a bit too warm - not in a negative 'oh no this is terrible' kind of way just in a 'phew for once I actually need to turn something down' kind of way. I suffer from Raynauds and didn't think my feet would ever feel warm again. Hubby sticks this on 3 for an hour before I get in to bed and I turn it down to 1 when I get in and within half an hour my feet are all toasty warm and I can turn it off for the night.It's brilliant, I'm really pleased with it, I hadn't been able to sleep for months before we bought this but having warm feet has made a huge difference.
