I had been going to bed, sometimes in my dressing gown, just to keep warm in the worst winter we have had for years.My daughter said " why don`t you buy an electric blanket., there are some good buys from Argos"I`d had an electric blanket years ago and had forgotten they even existed.I got on the internet and ordered a single electric blanket to pick up from my local Argos store 4 miles away. I purchased it on myArgos Card to allow me easy monthly payments as an expensive Christmas was looming.I promise, I have never slept so well for years.I actually look forward to going to bed now knowing I can snuggle up in my nice warm bed.I would recommend everyone to purchase an electric blanket,

great purchase. my 11 year old daughter kept complaining she was cold. we bought a 15 tog duvet cover and still complained she was cold. then we bought this.and never been cold since. there are pieces of string to tie the blanket on to the bed but to be honest we have not used them and the electric blanket still stays in place. not expensive, very basic and easy to use but when giving it to a child to use , thats perfect as they hate to read instructions. overall, we think its great. we went for this price range and have not regretted it. bought xmas 2009. still working fine so far so good .the blanket does not cover the whole size of the single bed, but it warms it all up nicely . no cold spots.

I purchased this to use on my massage couch, being thick and fleecy it's a lovely comfortable feel under my couch cover. It doesn't heat up as quickly as I would like (takes about 30 mins) but as the majority of my clients love it and don't want to get off the couch at the end of my sports massage treatments - the warmth helps them relax more so all in all its a great hit. A built in timer would be useful but no problem for me as I'm not using on a bed so having to switch off before I doze off!

The product is worth every penny. So soft, thick and warm. It does not warm up to the highest hear quickly but that is common to all blankets and some heat comes through in minutes. I.e I have to leave it on over an hour to be really hot for night time. The fast track reservation service was also awesome. I sped through in and out in less than 1.5 mins despite other people waiting for stuff they had purchased the traditional way.

Good blanket, got like a wool like top, which is comfortable & on the highest setting warms up really quick, if anything too hot, got an all night setting if needed, like other people say, being the blanket isn’t reviseable the switch for the blanket in at the bottom of my bed, it a long blanket as well so good coverage, I bought a bit dearer than I would normally pay, but think it’s paid off, so one happy warm bunny up to now

This has a nice soft, warm fleece topping. Works great with no problems so far. Only negative is that the cords to hold it to a mattress are literally thin lengths of string, would be better if they were wider straps. You might want to note that the power cable comes out of the top left (as you look at it) which was the wrong side for me but I appreciate this is just a 50/50 chance that will work for some.

i bought this in a kingsize for my bed and was really please as it went from one edge of the bed tho the other so i was surprised when i bought this for a single bed that it goes down the middle but doesnt fit all the matress it as if it was made for a two foot six bed but a part from that it thick fleece and does the job ( didnt like the string tags so i dont use them i tuck them under the blanket)

The blanket warms up very quickly. It has three settings. Number 3 the hottest is great, I switch it on about 15-20 mins before i want to use it and then turn it down to number 1 when i lay on it. Other than being a little skimpy on the width at 28" - A single bed is 36" it's great.Other than that i can't fault it at all, it's nice and comfy and for £20 quite frankly a bargain!

Excellent product, very warm with three heat settings.Very comfortable to lie on as its quite a thick fleece.Also comes with ties to attach to mattressThe low setting will cut in and out as required to keep a minimum temperature. The only niggle is the switch, it has an 'OFF' at both ends (handy) but you need to look to make sure you switch it 'ON' on the correct number you require.

This is by far the best of the under blankets as it is longer than most. I initially ordered a single heated fleece electric blanket (same brand) but soon realised that to get the longer length you need to order the heated fleece 'underblanket' which is better in quality and size, approximately £10 more in price but worth the extra. Very happy with this blanket and would buy again.

Useful 3-heat setting underblanket which heats up in 5 minutes. On cold nights can be left switched on low all night. The fleece finish as makes bed more comfortable compared to other underblankets bought previously. Only niggle is the fiddly way it has to be tied to the mattress rather than an easy to fit elasticated skirt around the edge. Overall nice blanket.

I’ve been wanting one of these for ages so decided to treat my self and I absolutely love it, the only problem I faced is that when reading the instructions they said 1 is a good heat if using it at night and I didn’t really get much heat from it, however I’m a very cold person, but when using 3 I see a minor impact, very good product very impressed

Bought because it has a 3yr guarantee which is worth something these days!! Does get quite hot so i only put it on low setting, but when I get one of my 'bad backs' I will put it on the high setting and lie on it for an hour which is wonderful therapy!! Also, good that it's washable. Only thing I don't like is the bulky electrical attachment.

I suffer chronic pain and this blanket actually helps me sleep and to prepare to get up. it doesn't take long to warm up and setting three I would call hot. I bought the single size to put on my half of our king bed and it's really comfy you wouldn't know your were sleeping on anything different. for the price do not hesitate.

This blanket is a good size, plenty wide, and long enough to keep my feet warm too. Heats up quickly. The range of heat settings 1, 2, 3 are well thought out. 1 is warm enough to run for longer periods, and three is nice and hot. The blanket is really comfortable and warm and fleecy. Don't know why I didn't get this sooner.
