Thought of this as a good gift to get her for valentines day as she lives in an old house and complains about the cold when I'm not there, and as soon as she saw it she was very pleased with the product. One thing to note is I did not actually get the advertised product here so I'm not certain if the company have changed name in the meantime or something.The material is very nice to lie down on just by itself, which is how she has irritatingly decided to use it haha. it is just a tiny bit smaller than her double bed so a good fit. It has material that is rolled up designed for you to tie under the mattress to keep the sheet in place. The cables cant be felt through the material which is obviously a plus for the product adding to the comfort.

I've had the Lloytron for a month now and have concluded I'm delighted with it. Under my fitted sheet I use a memory foam mattress topper and placed the Lloytron under it and was afraid that it would block the heat but it doesn't. About 2 hours before I go to bed I switch it on to #3 then before I hop into bed I turn it down to #1 and leave it on all night. When I first get into bed it's very warm, but then goes down to the perfect heat to keep me cosy all night but not too hot. As a light-sleeper the Lloytron is in fact helping me get to a full night's sleep where previously I would have woken up feeling cold,

I purchased two of these electric blankets for my kids. I don't have prior experience of electric blankets, but the quality of these seems excellent to me - the finish of the blankets and "feel" of the switch is very good.They come with approximately 2 meters of cable - which is certainly long enough for our needs. The blankets tie around the mattress and stay there without problems. The size of the sheets seems fine even to me and I'm 6'3" tall.We try to put them on about an hour before bed & the beds are really "toasty" after that time. Once we forgot and they only had 15 minutes which wasn't quite long enough to warm the bed, but I think half-hour would have been fine.The one negative thing,

The two controls for different sides is great for couples and for when you're on your own and dont want to waste electricity. This product makes me want to get back to bed all day long, and feel like a cosy bug in a rug. The 1st heat setting is very low and just takes the chill out of any night, It feel's just like its matching your own body temperature. The second one is great for a long lie in and makes the mornings a pleasure. The 3rd setting is roasting, this is what I use to warm up the bed on an especially cold night but you'll probably wake up sweating if you kept it on throughout the night.I feel this product is very safe; I once left it on at the 3rd setting all day and when I returned it didnt feel like the heat had accumulated,

I had seen 2 pictures of this color. 1 was quite light and the other was a very deep cream. The picture item I ordered was the light set so expected it to be so, When I first opened the package I felt disappointed to see it looked a dark cream. However, the shading is different when on the bed. The color tends to be in the middle of the 2 and I have to say it looks really lovely. I have enhanced it with red runners & pillows & 2 beige scatter cushions to finish with a red one in the middle. I am glad I did this because I have found that it is more of a Double size than a King size so I cannot fully cover up to the pillows underneath as I need the longest length for the sides and of course I need a good drop at the bottom.

Good value item. My other electric blanket, from a different maker, is 180W max and this one only 60W, which I hadn't realised when ordering. I have noticed that it doesn't heat up as quickly, though it's adequate for me if I put it on early in the evening. It's always lovely and warm by the time I go to bed and at 60W doesn't use much energy. I rarely sleep with an electric blanket on, otherwise I wake up feeling very uncomfortable, though with this blanket on low it might be OK on very cold nights. It is a lot less expensive than others and I can't find many that don't have that awful fleecy lining, which makes me sweat on my back at night and feel uncomfortable, even without the blanket switched on.

I purchased this over a year ago as a gift to my girlfriend who gets cold in bed (as i beleive do most of the worlds female population)I bought a single so it would just cover her half of the bed, which is spot on for us.straight out of the packet there was very little work to do, it comes with ties to strap it down but i didnt bother, we just sit it on the mattress and put the bedsheet over it, it shifts over slightly every now and then but not an issue really.It has three settings, i did think that it would always be on maximum, but to be honest it gets really hot and she usually has it on one or two.it takes about 5 minutes to get up to temperature. the modes on the controller are "OFF, 1,

Bought this as my spouse suffers from poor circulation and I suffer from cold feet and hands (not mine obviously!)Firstly, fitting was a bit of a trial. There are two controllers - one for each side which need to be plugged in separately to a socket. The controllers each fit into largish lumps on the blanket. The instructions tell you to fit the blanket with the controllers at the pillow end of the bed but this either puts the controller lumps under your pillows and leaving your feet unheated or puts the controller by your shoulder which might be uncomfortable. So we fitted the blanket upside down with the controllers at the bottom of the bed. This works fine.In use the blanket has been fantastic.

It's good to have an electric under blanket that is also machine washable/dryable, and that it can be used all night; however, after reading the fine print on the instructions, I see that it is not meant to be used all night by restless sleepers. My husband and I are very restless sleepers, so we cannot use it all night; however, I do use it to warm the bed before getting into it at night. It's a good idea for those nights when hubby feels cold and I don't, so I put it on his side of the bed, lay the pj's on it and then put the regular blanket over that, and let it run for a few hours before bed time. He gets a toasty warm pj/bed to climb into :) Good on energy usage too as even on the highest setting (3),

I've brought electric blankets in the past for my double bed and they would be more suited to a single bed. This blanket though fits the whole width of the bed perfectly, the length of the blanket is just long enough leaving a gap where your pillows would be. I always put my electric blankets onto the bed upside down so the controls are at the bottom of the bed, so you don't have that connecting part of the blanket up by your head. The first time I used this blanket I put it onto number 3 setting for about 30 minutes, when I got into bed it was like stepping into an oven and had to get back out and let the bed cool a little. This blanket only needs to be turned on 10 minutes before you go to bed.

I work as a Therapist and wanted a cheap bed warmer - the official massage ones are so rudiculously expensive - THIS IS IDEAL!! It is the perfect size to fit my therapy couch, it warms up and gives the ultimate cosy warm feeling to all my clients, who have ALL said it is so nice they don't want to get up! The only down side is that you do have to remember to switch in on at least an hour before to warm up properly and also, and this is a very bad design, it does not have an automatic cut out after a couple of hours of use. I woke up at half two last night remembering I had forgotten to switch it off!!! Couch was so snug and warm, I nearly got on there to sleep! Otherwise,

This is the first time in my life that I have ever used an electric blanket. I am very happy with this one. Although there are only 2 settings I find both the temperature settings are perfect. I live in an extremely cold house with no central heating and the highest setting keeps me toasty warm. The lower setting is good for all night use, but feel I do not need it on all night after being so warmed up with setting 2. I am very happy with this blanket considering the price compared to others. I gave it a rating of 4 instead of 5 as I feel if it was to keep two people warm being a double it would not completely fit to the edges of the bed, but as I sleep alone it is big enough or me.

Me and the Mrs have a super-king size bed. So, that's basically like having two singles pushed together. You see where I'm going with this?I like to sleep in a nice cool bed. The lady prefers the kind of temperatures found only at the centre of volcanoes."So," I think to myself. "How about a single underblanket?"Step 1. Buy underblanket.Step 2. Buy a single memory foam mattress topper. (I shall explain this)Step 3. Fit everything.Step 4. Sigh of relief as the complaining about being cold stops.There are cords (very long) to attach the blanket to the bed. So, being a super-king size, those cords pass over my side. Hence the memory foam topper! It's for me! Half roasting hot, half spongy cool.

I've been using it for about 2 months now and I love it!! It is a single bed size which works great for me as my partner is always too hot at night! I just put it underneath the fitted sheet on my side of the bed, turn it on 10 minutes before going to sleep and it feel so toasty when I get into bed! I usually turn it off as I am about to fall asleep.In other comments some people said it doesn't heat enough. I see why people say that as it doesn't appear very hot when out of the bed, if you use it to wrap yourself in it (but that’s not how it's meant to be used! and it's not very comfortable either as it's quite stiff). It however heat very well and does a great job when place underneath the fitted sheet,

I could not believe how quickly this heats up! We only bought the single one as I am personally not keen on getting in a warm bed but my husband loves it so we just got this on for his side. The first night we remembered to put it on an hour before going to bed as we weren't sure how long it would take but guessed at about an hour (I'd read loads of reviews of lots of different products and couldn't remember the exact specification). It was lovely and toasty when he got in. The second night we'd completely forgotton about it and only turned it on as we came up stairs. And it heated up nicely in the time it took him to get ready for bed (which is about 20min of faffing around).
