These cans are a quality piece of kit. Happy with them. Still got a bit of burn time left in them but can't complain thus far. Have had a pair of pioneers that I used for djing/production that were fab but having used these now for a while, when easy listening, I've ward sounds in songs that I've not heard in either my pioneers or in ear headphones which have left me astounded.As a budget stereo monitor headphone, you won't bear these for value, comfort & quality.Top drawer! A*

After owning 2 expensive pairs of Shure in ear monitors which seemed to me to be in a different league to some of the other expensive IEM's I own, I decided to try a pair of their headphones and I am not dissappointed, very well made and sound great. Not the same standard as my Shure SE 846 in ears but at nothing like the same cost so I wasn't expecting them to be. But impressive none the less

I have the Athm50 and read reviews on the shures and thought i would give them a go .They are similar in sound signature but imho the shure840 are just that little bit better. But don't take my word for it listen to Z reviews on youtube

I bought it for studio work and piano keyboard sequencing - it’s amazingly professional, the sound is just perfect no boosting and fake warmness - you can hear every frequency range/ instrument - a must for musicians !

Brilliant pair of headphones. Best value for money new, even better used. Highly recommended. Compared it to Sennheiser HD598SE, distinctively better. I wonder how much better the more expensive Shure models are?

Great headphones for mixing down on. I can hear all the frequencies clearly, so only need to fine tune on studio monitors. Very pleased with them.

If neutral SQ is important you won't find better value.
