Got these about two weeks ago and here are my thoughts. Firstly it comes with four sets of ear adapters to choose from included in the box, which is great for finding just the right size easily. The comfort of these are amazing and do a great job of isolating noise around you, also I haven't found any issues of them falling out of my ears which is always a plus. Love the feel of the cable and it's tangle free had no issues with it tangling up. It comes with a very nice and compact storage pouch, easy to store them in a pocket or anywhere really. Let's get on with the sound I must say the bass on these are great for people who love that extra bass,I found that in some songs I listened to there was just a little to much bass for my liking, but I think most people will probably enjoy it. The sound still has a lot of detail even with the bass being present the detail still holds very well which I appreciate a lot. There's a built in microphone and remote for calls and control of music, I found the button to be not very clicky and hard to know when its been pressed, I would of liked to see a volume wheel or buttons on the side to easily change the volume. Overall the CX 300s is a great product and there's not a lot wrong with it and for the price I can't really complain, great sounding and comfy earbuds whats not to love. I was quite pleased to see a pouch to keep the earphones safe in the box, and I really like the look, which with the silver badges on each earpiece, makes them look expensive. They are a lot lighter than they appear, and the cable seems to have a coating that reduces the tendency to tangle, which older Sennheiser’s have suffered with. I’ve used them with an iPhone, so need to plug them into an adaptor, which is not the end of the world, and the remote still works fine. There is only one button on the remote, but I found i did not really miss the volume controls. I found it very easy to get a decent fit, using the smallest silicon bud. As the earphones are so light, they comfortably stay in my ears while walking, with no issues. I would not be happy going running with them though, as they do not feel secure enough to stay in my ears.I found the sound quality to be good, not as good as the Momentum In Ears, but good enough to hear spoken podcasts, and music, without having to turn the volume up too high. There was very little cable noise as well.I am quite happy with them, and would not hesitate to recommend them. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

I had to replace a fantastic pair of Sennheiser-MM-30i headphones that I bought in 2017. They were £29, came with a built in mic and a remote that could play, pause and control the volume. And they got great reviews.Sennheiser have discontinued those and replaced them with a £29 pair that have no remote whatsoever, or this pair (which have a remote that lacks any form of volume control) or a £59 pair that have a remote with volume controls but aren't getting good reviews - and 00% price jump inside of 2 years for an equivalent product seems excessive, especially when the newer model isn't receiving good reviews.I must admit that I went with these because I saw the remote and made the assumptionit would also have volume control - my fault for being hasty; I'm not sure I would have gone with them if I'd spotted the lack of volume control. On the plus side the sound quality on the CX 300S really is fantastic.

Really like the earphones, for the price, it is much better than those cheap no brand earphones. It is not the best, but for the price, it is worth it. I really like the carry case that comes with it, it is easy to open and close to get my earphones. I also like that the cable is at a 90 degree, so when I plug it into my phones and have them in my pocket, it avoids the cable from being bent whenever I bend down and raise my legs (I destroyed my previous earphones this way...). The only downside I can think of is that the control only has one button to play/pause, previous and next song. It doesn't have a button to control volume so I have to use my phone to increase/decrease volume. Other than that,it is an excellent earphone! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

I am more than happy with the Sennheiser CX 300S. They are an excellent pair of in-ear headphones with great ambient noise reduction, and they also have a built in microphone and remote for call and music control. They provide an excellent level of sound isolation and bass-heavy sound that will please all lovers of drum & bass, hip-hop and EDM.They do require a bit of running in before they perform at their best, but after a few hours of playing music, the high frequencies sound crisp and fresh, and bass notes display dexterity and discipline.I would defiantly recommend the Sennheiser CX 300S for all lovers of high quality music! I really like Sennheiser products. I've unfortunately left many a pair of headphones in my gym shorts when theyve get washed and this brand stands up to a good few washes before packing in.Anyway, these are an upgrade to my current ones with an inline volume control which is great. Phone in drinks holder at gym with headphones attached while on the treadmill. Used these today and had someone chat to me so easily turned volume down without touching phone.Sound is pretty decent and once the headphones are in they are pretty good at cancelling out background noise and keeping the music in your noggin.Come with a nice storage pouch. Would buy again.

These in ear phones sound really good. They have silicone style seals in a range of sizes which help eliminate background noise effectively without the need for battery powered noise cancellation technology. The ergonomic angled design of the buds helps them fit easily in to your ear canal. My only reservation is that the cable handling noise can be a bit distracting for me, but only on the move. Sitting still on a train is fine. The pouch the come with is a nice touch too. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

A truly fantastic pair of in ear headphones, the sound quality is the best I have heard, the range is broad and the sound clear, even at high volume there is little to no distortion. The headphones themselves are tastefully designed and subtle when worn under a T-shirt or jacket, and the carry case is a nice touch that minimised the amount of time spent trying to find them in my bag.I was also impressed with the range of sizes in the additional earbuds that were provided. Sennheiser has aways been a part of my travel bag - dependable, well priced and low key. I would always recommend them to other people just because of the sound quality. I have been using these headphones with an iPhone which still has the headphone socket and it does the music justice. I do find that they cope well with podcasts and live radio and therefore are the perfect partner for my travelling. My only concern is the 3 month test - will they still be working so will re-edit the review at that point.

On first appearance they look very basic materials-wise (fine but not £45 level materials) but upon listening it's clear that money has gone into the sound quality which for me (and many I'm sure) is where you want it, and justifies the price.I found the pre-fitted ear buds fitted well and no need to use any of the other sizes supplied...nice that they do offer the full spectrum of sizes though. These aren't Apple Lightening headphones so you'll need the dongle adaptor if say using an iPhone 7 upwards.

22.3.2019

Whilst the basic external materials point to a lesser price point, it's clear upon listening that the claims of detailed sound reproduction and enhanced bass are where the focus have been. Challenging bass notes were handled perfectly and together with a perfect fit out of the box, the isolation and sound experience was top notch. I like the unassuming look. Just the jack lead means for many iPhone users, the adaptor dongle is required. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

The sound is crisp. Treble and bass are good. They are a significant improvement on Sennheiser’s entry-level earbuds. The inline remote is handy. If these don’t fit your ears, try the other ear adapters. It may seem obvious but it is easy to forget, especially as if you are using the wrong adapter, they tend to fit at first and then start to slip out a few weeks later.I’m pleased to see that a tiny carry pouch is included. The right-angled plug is much better than a linear one.

5.6.2019

Sennheiser don't make bad headphones, so it is no surprise that this in-ear set is comfortable to wear and works well enough. The design ensures a good fit in the ear, and the noise-cancelling qualities are impressive. But, the presence of the sound and the dynamics seems below that of other models in the 300 range. Perhaps these are more suited to phone use - I personally found the on off button superfluous. A good headphone option - but not the greatest.

After losing my old sennheiser ear canal headphones, I have tried many different ones from other manufacturers. All of the others could not measure up in noise blocking, sound quality or comfort. Even without music playing, these are as if I am wearing ear plugs, and block out 80% of noise. When on planes, I am able to have the volume v low, allowing me to sleep as the music blocks the plane noise. Well done Sennheiser on another great product.

I bought these to replace an older pair of Sennheiser earphones which must have been 9 years old and they were still working until broke them. There was no hesitation in buying a new pair and the same brand Sennheiser and these are as good if not better. They are really good quality, with a good quality cable and plug and they offer excellent sound. I love wireless earphones but I still prefer a pair of wired earphones for convenience!
