I purchased this hard drive to replace the one pre-exisiting in my old 13 inch MacBook Pro (Unibody, late 2010) - I installed it and transferred my files over and this was very fast.The drive itself was as described, brand new - sadly 2 days after installing it the Logic Board of the computer I installed it to died (not related!) - I was really concerned this could have compromised the hard drive - not at all, plugged it into a new machine and it was ready to go as if nothing had happened!Great price point too!Pros: Reliable, sturdy and quite fast, even for a 5400RPM drive!Cons: Makes a whirring noise (caused by the platter spinning and there being a vent aperture on the surface of the drive!)

Bought to replace the ailing drive on my DELL laptop as it was identical - I wanted to minimise formatting & Fitting problems. I cloned it using the EASUS free software and found that fitting was pretty easy. Booted up the laptop and it immediately found the cloned drive which it recognised as the original. It has worked perfectly ever since and is faster than the original. (I find it strange that it's faster to boot up too, as it has faithfully replicated all the rubbish that I had put on the original drive, as well as stuff that had accumulated.) Even faster now that I have deleted a lot of the rubbish! Good buying experience, cheapest I could find. Would use the seller again.

Needed a new hdd for my Acer aspire netbook after the old one stopped working. It originally had a 120GB hdd but wanted more space with the new one. Having recently purchased a portable 1.5TB Seagate and having no problems decided that Seagate was my choice again. I was very pleased with the price of the Momentus on Ebay and the performance is second to none. Installaion was a breeze and worked without any problems. Would definately buy this again and would also recommend to a friend.

I paid £13.99 and free delivery for this 500g 2.5" hard drive.Although it was previously, at that price it only needed to work to be exception value and work it does. Placed it in an external hard drive to store movies and music. Transfer speed is great, performance is great and because of the size make it perfect for use as a portable hard drive in the right enclosure.

good quality hard drive . it's working perfectly, i bought this because the old one was burn but with this one my laptop is working verry nice, i definettly recommend this hard drive to a friend to every body who needs it!

Bought this HDD as an upgrade for my phat ps3 60gb. Fitted with no hassle. Works well, just as good as the original equipment only with a LOT more storage!! A great product at a great price!

Very good HDD not problems so far, very quiet. It does get abit hot after long use but it might be my computer.
