Supplied and dispatched by Amazon.. Good quality drive and recently manufactured stock rather than old stock like some available from other sellers.These are excellent, reliable drives and come with a 2 year manufacturers warranty.This warranty starts when it's manufactured rather than sold, so try and get newer stock from a high turnover supplier, rather than something that's been sat in a warehouse for 3-6 months.I would say that if your happy to spend a few pounds more, the FireCuda solid state hybrid version (SSHD) is worth the extra cost as this is a faster drive and comes with a 5 Yr warranty.

My wife's laptop was playing up. After running a BIOS hard disk scan, it said that the hard drive was about to fail. Looking for a quick fix, I plumped for the Seagate drive because of its value for money. However, the thin profile of this drive caught me out. To fix it into the hard drive bracket, I had to make the holes 2mm higher so the hard drive holes would align. Didn't take much effort. After cloning the contents from the existing drive, this Seagate drive has purred away like a kitten. It's only been about one week but my wife said that her laptop has been rock solid.

I fitted it into my PS4 and it's working.A tip for anyone doing the same. I transferred all my game installation data to an external HDD before I put in the new drive. I then put in the new drive, reinstalled the PS4. I then connected the external HDD with my data and transferred it back.Saved a lot of time. It took an hour and a half both ways for 370gb. I wasn't sure I could do this, but it worked. I didn't want to have to install and update every game individually.

Works fine so far. Easy to install. Put it in my Mac Mini, on the top bay. On the bottom bay a 525GB SSD with the OS. All I had to do was to erase (format) the HDD with disk utility, and I got 1TB of mass storage along with the SSD. Haven't measured any speeds, so don't know how fast it is, but then again don't really need to, as the OS and Apps are on the SSD and the HDD is just for pictures etc.

after being told that my 15 month old laptop needed a new hard drive left me miffed to say the least, bt a friend fitted it and re programmed it for windows 7 and not 10 and its working brilliantly again, on the original hard drive it says on it, replace and a x in biro, so i think it needed to be changed even before i bought it new from our local jec shop, not on really,

Purchased as an upgrade for the 500gb drive in my PS4Swap out process was simple and Sony has really thought out the backup and restoration processThe drive installed and is performing flawlessly, quieter than the original (not that the original was loud) and with the 128m cache it does appear to perform betterWould highly recommend

works straight away had to use windows disk management to initialise hard drive for use because it wouldn't show up straight away. if using for a new laptop initialise it in another pc or laptop using a caddy,No issues at all brilliant for the price and fast free delivery from amazon.would i recommend yes i would.

Bought the used hard drive from amazon, so I paid less than a new one, but there’s seems to be no drop in quality. It is being used inside my PS4 to increase its storage. I’ll update the review in the future to comment on its lifespan.

Worth every penny was delivered nxt day and I swapped It for the PS4 hard drive and works perfect. I Installed It in my PS4 with no problems at all, so will prob go for a bigger memory one now and put that one in my sons PS4.

Compact 1TB 2.5 seagate Barracuda hard drive. Installed in my PS4 for more storage over standard 500gb drive, works flawlessly and from spec sheet is tad more power friendly and cooler and quieter

Fantastic HDD for the price.Using as network storage attached to my router.Not had it long but it's performing well.Can't say much else as it's just simply doing it's job.

Wow, arrived well packaged. I got this through Prime, so received it the next day.The disk is well made & slotted in nicely. I would recommend this for price & efficiency.

Replaced this hard drive in my 8 year old lenovoe Ideapad z580 laptop. It perfectly suited and working well. Performance is excellent. Better than expected.
