i fitted one of theese to a car for the 1st time today, it took me around 3 minutes. Its a very simple procedure & for once the instructions were very good & easy to follow. slightly fiddly & helps if you have small fingers.i have no idea how pple fit theese in under 1 minute .. but anyhow , its a simple job & even taking 3 minutes its not dificult or time consuming.though really not something to give to anyone younger than a teenager. does require some caution & care.

Had to purchase to make two cars digital ready for my son's new digital scalextric set, which were bought without realising they weren't compatible otherwise. They solved the problem, just made the exercise a bit more expensive, but pleased my son is happy now!

Scalextric digital is a fantastic evolution of the game and this allows existing cars to be converted, at a price. Discounted multi packs would be nice for those with an established collection of cars, and why are new cars not coming bundled with chips?

very simple process to install in a digital ready car. The instructions are very good & easy to follow, helps if you have small fingers & good eyesight to work up close LOLYoung children should be supervised requires some caution & care.

Easy to fit - done within minutes. Makes SOME scalextric cars useable on digital sets. Make sure you buy the correct size (ie this is for saloon cars). Also make sure that the car you wish to convert is digital plug ready.

C8515 fits all DPR 2/ 4 seat cars in the scalextric range , it allows the car to change lanes & the power base to track the laps / performance of the cars. it arrived on time and is a good price

I bought my son a car but did not realise I had to buy this item separately. It does seem like an expensive addition but it is easy to fit and use. It could be cheaper though!

These completely enhance your racing experience and the family and I are having a great time after digitising the cars. You can fit it in approx 40 seconds.

Easy to install in a dpr saloon car. Can't believe Scalextric don't supply these at reduced price when they charge so much for most vehicles.

Standard stuff, and I was pleased to get it so quick over the Xmas holiday period with the layout sprawled across the floor.

Easy to fit and works very well. A fairly expensive, but necessary addition to each car if you need to go digital.
