As an owner of analogue and digital combination sets these bring out the best in the racing world. From just racing around a track with two cars you can now do it with a multitude of 4 or 6 always with the option to still come in first place even in a 2 Lane track these can be added to analogue track with digital to analogue converters and turns Scalextric into something else. These with the analogue to digital converters or just straight on their own are an addition to a digital track they would most definitely say is a needed part to any Scalextric race track

These straight track lane-changers are pretty much a must to get the best out of a digital circuit. In my opinion they are better than the radius version (which sometimes throw the cars off the track). They work very well although prior to starting to race make sure the track rails are set correctly as we have found that sometimes when you switch on the power they 'switch' to the cross-over position.

You have to have on of these, allows you to add on pits, overtaking, you need a lane changer in every scalextric track, boring without it. So not purchase from Jadlam though, it's cheaper pretty much everywhere else, you can pick them up new for £25 on most other online shops if you spend a few minutes looking. Even Amazon frequently sells them for 25, 30 and they actually offer good service.

This track is great! The sensors are very good, works perfect. I’d recommend this piece of track to anyone. I purchased all the lane change tracks and pit lanes from Amazon, great price and arrived in perfect condition. Very happy with Amazon and Scalextric! Cheers.

Adds an extra dimension to a simple circuit,the more the merrier,makes for more fun going for a lane change into a corner With pace cars and random lane change programmed (6car power base) then fun really sets in

because it is like new and works perfectly well . makes playing on the scalextric set up so much more entertaining and challenging , would recommend one definitely .
