i bought the galaxy buds yesterday and after 24 hours of use, i can confirm that the buds are fantastic, the sound quality is second to none, i tested the airpod pros in apple yesterday and the sounds from the buds were similar if not better, the music is loud and punchy, with brilliant bass however if you are not satisfied with the sound you can use the equaliser which is included on the wearables app with customisable functions on the touch pad. the moment I opened the case for the first time, my galaxy A5 connected and since I already had the wearables app, connecting and pairing the buds was easy and fast, the interchangeable ear tips and wingtips in the box we're all very comfortable in my ears and it's good that samsung recognised comfort as well as quality and customization. The buds also have an ambient sound feature allowing you to hear your surrounding environment better since the rubber tips block a lot of the sound out, when I used it, i realised as I was listening to music, the music started to cut out, i tried ambient sound again today with no issues but a software update may be necessary, ambient sound can be activated by either holding the bud, you have to set this as the default touch and hold function, or turning it on from the app, you can make voices stand out and change the volume of the feedback from the sounds, if you are having a conversation with someone, to be able to hear them, you either have to be next to them or be in a small room. I haven't tested the microphones fully yet but when I used ambient mode, the quality wasn't excellent but they aren't bad either, there are two microphones, the exterior mic is under the trackpad and the other is above the eartip, they switch between each other depending on how loud the environment is, which is handy if your on the phone. The trackpad is great to change tracks, pause/play, answer/end phone calls, but you have to be accurate with your presses otherwise they don't exactly do what you want as I've experienced. the buds have sensors on them to detect when they are in your ears and they are fool proof, since they know when they are in your ears and when they aren't, if you put your finger over the sensor it won't do anything, when you put the bud in your ear they ding to confirm your wearing them, when you take both buds out the track pauses, but don't resume when you put both back in unfortunately. when you want to use your buds, open the case and the notification will show up on your samsung device with percentage status and you can listen right away, when you put both back and close the case, the Bluetooth will disconnect and your main speaker plays sounds, this is excellent as when they are paired to your device, no one else can interfere with the connection as they are personalised to your device. I think the buds are excellent and anyone who is looking for a great pair of wireless earphones, the galaxy buds are great, they work with any phone so even apple users can use these however you don't get the great wearables app that samsung offers. but these buds are very good for the price

After using Bose Bluetooth Headphones for listening to my music while commuting I decided that as they are not always convenient to carry around the new Samsung Buds caught my eye. These are also IPX2 rated so I'm not so concerned about being caught in a rain shower. I chose them in Black. They have a six hour reported usage time but time will tell from usage with the case itself offering another full charge. There is a led light inside the case that shows what charge the earbuds have and a led light on the outside of the case to show its charging status. The case can be charged via the supplied USB-C cable or via wireless charging. See attached picture of the Samsung Buds PillBox case sat on my Samsung Duo Charger.Because the earbuds have ear tips and wings the fit is really good and no amount of head shaking / running failed to dislodge them. The material the earbuds are made out of also helps to keep them comfy to wear for a longer period of time. The playback of music is loud and the base and treble are more than ample for my user experience. Phone Call quality has been clear. For Samsung / Android users the addition of the features in the Galaxy Wearables App offers further options in regards to equaliser options and options to choose what the touchpads do on either side. These are not available to iPhone users due to the Galaxy Wearables App not being available.Either Bixby or Google Assistant can be chosen to be invoked or if used on an iPhone it'll use Siri. The buds have a search mode feature if one or more is misplaced but they have to be connected to the phone to work. The ambient sound feature to which a person long holds onto one of the touchpads you've assigned to the Rh or Lh earbud which lowers the music sound to let you hear them speak works really well or a person can set it to On all the time. The quality of the materials and workmanship is top notch which is typical of Samsung.Well worth the cost and even better for those who pick up a free White pair when purchasing one of the Samsung Galaxy s10 phones. Eligibility criteria applicable.

Got mine as a freebie with my S10+. As I didn't pay for them, they are very good indeed.Joking apart, the sound quality is good, with plenty of detail, and I find the fit in the ear is very good once you've worked out the optimum position to tuck them in to. I haven't tried wearing them for a long period, and I imagine they will have the same problems as any other in-ear product for sustained use. Pairing them with my phone was very straightforward, and I have also set them up to use with my tablet.I like the way the earbuds stay charged up by the battery case, which is well made and has survived being carried in my trouser pocket most days for the last 3 months or so.Dropped on to a carpeted floor a couple of times without a problem too. The way they switch on when placed in the ear is also good, as is the control interface (and the ability to swap control options in software). It is pleasing that the software is obviously still being developed, and there have been several updates since I received them.To my mind, however, the biggest drawback is that they simply aren't loud enough! I don't listen at ear-bleed volumes, but I do like enough volume to defeat external noise on a train or a noisy room, and these don't really deliver that. While I appreciate there is a need to protect people from themselves sometimes, and that high volume tends to bring distortion, a bit more "welly" would transform these earbuds from a nice extra to a must-have.Because of the lack of volume, I am giving them a four star rating. If they had a bit more punch, they would rate five stars for the well thought-out design and functionality.

I bought these earbuds about three weeks ago and they're awesome. But I seem to have a hard time keeping track of them. Sure they have a "Find my Earbuds" feature, but it only works if you've lost the buds when they're out of the case. I wish the case would connect to my phone so I could locate them that way, so at least I know they're in the general vicinity I'm looking in. Otherwise, if you lose them in the case, good luck finding them. The sound quality is amazing, but using them for calls, not so much. You will get a lot of complaints from the caller on the other end about not being able to hear you. Pairing the earbuds was very easy on my Galaxy S10, and when you put them in your ear after that, they connect right away with maybe a 1 second delay or less.I wish the case was charged up at lease 50% out of the box, or heck I would have even taken 30%, but completely dead? Bummer to find out you can't use them right away after purchasing. The app is also quite useful. You can tweek your earbuds quite a bit, much better than what you can do with Apple's AirPods on the iPhone.I wish Ambient Mode was better. Right now, it sounds like a small fan is always running in my ear, it doesn't pick up on voices all that well like I was expecting.Overall, Samsung did a great job with these earbuds. I look forward to seeing the next version with better call taking/receiving capabilities, a better "Find my Earbuds" feature, and an improved ambient mode feature. Perhaps they'll even add Active Noise Cancellation while they're at it.

I bought these at a slight discount. For me, they are 'good enough'. Sound is good and you can adjust to the type of sound you prefer, e.g. Bass boost vs. clear. They connect well to my Garmin watch and battery seems to last well. For heavy use, I would expect to charge them in their charging case once per day. My right bud consistently drains in battery quicker than the left, a common fault reported on other forums. This is frustrating but not every piece of equipment is perfect. If the discrepancy in battery drainage becomes too big, I will contact Samsung. I have taken some calls with the buds and asked whether the other person could hear me well and they could. I can hear a difference when I turn on Ambient sound, but I wouldn't say there is a hugely obvious adjustment. If this is important to you, I'm not sure these are the product for you. It would be good if the phone app displayed the % batter of the charging case too, rather than just relying on a green, amber, red colour rating. They hurt my ears to begin with but this soreness went away after about 2 weeks once my ears got used to them and is no longer an issue. The touchpad function is OK. However, trying to double table the bud whilst running to go to the next song a lot of the time doesn't work and it just registers one tap and therefore pauses the song rather than moving to the next song. This can be a little frustrating but not the end of the world. The buds are what I was looking for - a good enough product for a good enough price.

I have always been a little dubious about using bluetooth for audio knowning how it can be prone to interference... forget all that with the Samsung ear buds. From open the back to using them it was just one wow facture after another. I was impressed how I just opened up dock and almost instantly my phone told me it found some ear buds and would I like to set them up. I didn't even have to turn anything on!I have spent the last few hours testing them out, sound quality is excellent, load enough to block out traffic noise but not ear drum blasting. If you happen to misplace the buds there is a find device option, and I am surprised how load this works. I put them in my living room, and went in the hall, upstairs, and into one of the bedrooms and provided things are quiet you can hear and locate them. In relation to being upstairs, I also left my phone downstairs in the dining room and was able to travel all over my house whilst listening to music without any interuption. The touch pads add a nice feature though a little clumbsy to use but there are find for skipping tracks. Need to give them a good test now on battery usuage but so far looking promising.Curious, does the dock hold enough charge to charge the buds from 0 to 100% if so that is pretty excellent if I can get 6-12 hours usage without having to use an external power supply.Oh on another note these are the ONLY earphones I have ever owned that don't fall out of my ears when jogging, erratic movement etc, another +1

Really nicely designed, fit well and like th carry / charging case. Decent sound quality but I havent listed to many other wireless buds to compare.Using them for phone calls is usually fine, if you phone is close by.I wear my watch on my left hand (like maybe 80% of the world) and use a very good Garmin fenix 5. The buds connect well and can play music straight from watch to Buds.... BUT, when I walk the music breaks up, no doubt the BT receiver is in the right ear. Even worse, I cannot run as about 60% of sound is missed. If I switch my watch to my right hand it works fine but for me its very unnatural and trying to read watch and press buttons on my right hand is not great.Surely the designers should have taken this into account. If you use a sports watch on your left hand I cannot recommend them sadly, everything else is great.I would like a bit more control over the left / right button controls though. Through the menu of my S10 I change one side, changes the other as well which isnt ideal.

I received the Galaxy Buds free with my S10+ and so far the sound quality is good, like others have mentioned, the default size is a perfect fit and they stay in place. The noise cancelling is good. Sometimes a little bit too good as I barely hear any background noise. Battery life is awesome, however my charging case wasn't charged out of the box. Which was a bit disappointing only for that scenario as I made a long distance journey and I couldn't charge them on my S10+ because its battery was below the 30% need for WPS. One addition I'd like to see in the future is the battery status of the charging case. I'm not an apple fan boy but I've thought the fact that they show the case's battery percentage to be a cool feature. So defo seeing the battery case's percentage would be a plus. Also the functionality of the touch pads could be improved. They don't always work and when they do I have to really press them to get what I want. But overall great product

I've only had these guys for 2 days but im absolutely astonished by them. The sound quality on the Buds + is very goods and the options to change bass and other things is really cool too. The ambient sound feature works really well and its good if you need to listen to your surroundings abit more. The way the fit in my ear aswell is great. I went running with them yesterday and they never felt like they were gonna fall out, they can start to push against your ears after a while and ache a little but that's to be expected. The customisation with the different earbud pieces too allows you to choose which ones work best for you too.The form factor of the case itself works really well as you can just fit em into your pocket real easy. You get alot of playtime with them as the battery is amazing.Overall very very good truly wireless earbuds and I'm extremely happy with the quality of them :)

I am a big fan of the Samsung Galaxy range since I got my S4 I never looked back S6 S6 edge and Tab S Samsung TV S8+ were also great products I got and never failed me. For a while I've been wanting Samsung to make their very own wireless headphones and boy once again they did not fail! The Galaxy Buds are fantastic the sound quality is amazing in the past many headphones would fall of my ears the wires would be tangled or pulled specially commuting to and from work, now how many of us got their ears pulled when the wire got stuck to someone getting of a busy train?! Well say goodbye to wires earphones falling out and poor sound guys these are the Cherry on top of the Samsung Galaxy range. They arrived within a day or so and are easy to connect to any of your Samsung devices, get the freedom get the grip get the sound highly recommend these!Read full review...

These were bought as a gift for me following me having a broken knee and I absolutely love them. They're slightly bulky in the ear but they are so snug so I never have to worry about them falling out, and the wireless-ness helps so much at the moment with me being on crutches and now doing rehab in the gym. I can leave my phone in one room and move to the next room and have no break in connection (within reason obviously) and everyone says they can hear me crystal clear. Just a couple of features that would help: having to turn the touchpad on and off is a bit annoying when all you want to do is adjust it in your ear a little. Also,I wear a headscarf so I can't use the touchpad unless I reach up underneath my scarf so it would help if you could turn up the touch sensitivity so it would work through thin material. Overall, great product!!

I bought the Buds just over a week ago, and I absolutely love them. The battery is amazing for my daily use, and the sound quality is incredible. The wireless charging is incredibly useful, I can just set them down on my wireless charger duo next to my Note 10+, and they will charge up quickly. I do agree that the case could have held more charge, but this has not been an issue. The in-ear style of the buds, coupled with their outstanding sound quality (when using the Dynamic setting of the equalizer) and their impressive volume led to no outside noise coming in when taking the underground when using them at about 2/3 volume.I would definitely recommend these to anyone with an Android phone(the lack of the samsung wear app on the App Store leads to the user missing out on a lot of features that make the Buds great).Good work, as usual!

I brought this just today and I haven't taken it out since! The ambient sound is impeccable; I can not fault it. The sound quality from the receiver and the caller is brilliant: we can hear eachother as clear as if we were in the same room. If I was forced to give a fault it would be the inability to check the battery percentage on the case. But all in all, the sound quality is great. Another one would be you can't slide the touchpad to control the volume. Ps. A quick tip to get extra bass from the bud is by: on your Samsung phone, go to the Samsung music app and press the 3 dots in the top left corner. Got to sound quality and effects and slide the dial to full bass.It creates extra depth and is completely different to the equaliser on the galaxy wearable app. Well done Samsung!

I purchased these on the day of release and was a bit sceptical, but since using them I've had no problems with connectivity nor any problems with phone calls as others have mentioned. The buds sit perfectly in my ears and stay in. I've worn them for a normal day to day use and used them while out running and haven't felt like they're going to slip out.The app that downloads with the buds is easy to navigate and a good add on for extra features. The touch pads on the buds also work quite well - sometimes it will not realise I'm trying to double press which can be annoying but not a major flaw.Overall extremely satisfied with my purchase!

I have been put off buying these Galaxy Buds because I thought that they are aimed at the health conscious workout brigade. ie made for treadmills & working out - and so would compromise on Sound Quality. How wrong I was, they may stay in your ear when jogging, but they sound amazing too. They fit fabulously (3 different size s,m,l rubber ear thing's & 3 different 'wings' too). Simple to use, they pair instantly. Fit comfortably for hours without irritation. And sound great too. They are also fairly priced in comparison to other manufacturers. The only downside being hands free calling is not fantastic.Love them, I'd highly recommend.
