Bought size 5-7 for our sons 4th birthday party (sizing based on other reviews). He is quite tall but this was just right for him and will look fine when he has grown too as trousers will just appear cut off shorter. It seemed quite well made really. He wore it all afternoon including lots of play on the bouncy castle and it survived well. I had to give it a quick hand wash afterwards as a few stains down the white front and it came up very well (instructions say sponge clean only). One lesson learned .... Don't let a child climb onto a leather dining chair wearing a silky finish material like this as they tend to slip off!

Received my item earlier than expected which I was pleased about as Iwas a little apprehensive to see the size. Perfect fit! I ordered asize large 7-8 for my son after reading reviews that the sizing is small.My son is 4 years old but quite tall for his age and this just fits right, so whenordering this item order a size up.Both sleeves on the top had marks on them when I opened packet but fora kids party and the price overall a good costume.

Amazed with the speed of delivery within 24 hours!..bought 2 for my 8 year old twin nephews as needed for school costume day. .They are tall lads for their age however the costumes just barely fit...would have preferred a bigger size as got the largest size but would be better if the sizes went up to 10 years of age ..overall not bad for the price and they look the part ?

I ordered this for my sons school assembly. He is age 7 and the age 7-8 fit perfectly. The quality of the product is much better than many of the costumes I have ordered online. It has a lovely silky feel and my son says it feels very comfortable on. It’s excellent value for money and was delivered efficiently.

Good outfit.. Boy thoroughly enjoyed this and felt very proud when attending his friend's party. Price was reasonable in comparison to others on the market... However not the most durable outfit in terms of washing and quite thin material so for winter parties or cold days, your child may need extra layers.

Great costume for my son. Needed something quick and Amazon didn't disappoint me. Had next day from ordering. I've ordered size 3 - 4 years as my son is 3 y old and its perfect fit. Details are great , I'm impressed as what price it is costume is great great. Well worth to get. Thank you

My nephew loved this for his birthday present. I would recommend buying the next size up. It's not amazing quality, I think the trousers ripped within the first couple of days but the rest is going on strong and he hasn't seemed to have lost interest yet 6months on like he usually does.

My son is 7 and takes 7-8 size and this measured a little small, but would be better if it were not winter as I wanted to put a long sleeved t-shirt under for warmth. Otherwise this was really fine and looked great. He was very pleased and couldn't wait to go to school in it!

The pirate outfit arrived on time and I'm happy with the product, but wished I'd gone for the 7-8 year old size as it is a bit small. My son is a fairly skinny but tall 4 year old, but the top is supposed to fit a 5-6 year old yet it still is quite a tight fit on him.

Probably not a long lasting product, but can certainly be used on more than a couple of occasions. It did the job for my child to dress up in for a school theme day. Excellent customer service and fast response to my query which was answered and resolved promptly.

Great costume, my boys love it. However I do feel the sizes are a little confusing. I had to re-order another as the first one was too small..a bit disappointed how difficult it is to wash, a child's costume should really be machine washable, still great though.

Twins have worn this for pirate day at school, woiuld thoroughly recommend, material diidnt tear, unlike some, only complaint was bought medium (5-6) but just fitted 4-5, but they still looked good. Wash on a 30, they dont shrink!!!!!

This is a lovely costume, but fits in the small side. I bought the size 5-6 years, even though my son is 3.5 years and only fits the item. Will not be in it for long, which is a shame as he is into pirates at the moment

Bought the age 5-6, it fits my 5 year old perfectly, note he is a little small for his age. He absolutely loves it. Wore it all day to a school dress up day and then it got stuffed into a bag and it's still fine.

Have purchased two of these costumes over the last couple of years. Very good value for money.Not sure it would take a lot of abuse but good enough for the price.Don't forget to buy a patch and a sword!
