This is a great costume - although slightly unsophisticated. It is a black polyester type fabric that goes on over the head, to achieve the look of a robe. It has velcro closures at the back. It has great sleeves which I would describe as a thickened/spider web lace effect. When the hood is placed on after the mask has been put on, it has a very 'shrouded' appearance to it and quite sinister. You cannot see the eyes or the mouth inside the mask because of the way the mask is made & this makes it have a realistic, sinister feel. My kids want to wear theirs on Halloween, but I think they will actually scare some of the younger kids with the mask!! The costume I ordered was a kids 'large',

My 8 year old son absolutely loves this costume and I must admit that he looks fantastic in it. It is very true to the Death Eaters in the Harry Potter films and he looks very 'scary' in it. I was however, disappointed in the quality of the outfit considering the amount I paid I expected better. The cuffs had quite a few cotton threads hanging as though it hadn't been finished off properly. That said once I had cut these off the outfit was fab.

Fantastic costume. Heavy material and well made. Ordered in large which is a perfect fit for my 9-, soon to be 10-, year-old daughter. Only complaint is the slit up the front is quite high and means that trousers or skirt will need to be worn underneath, rather than just the tights I was planning on her wearing with it, but no big deal. Item is official Harry Potter merchandise which was reassuring. Much cheaper than on online sites.

Great outfit. Used for our (tall) 6 year old on a trip to the Harry Potter Studio Tour. He looked amazing and got a lot of attention in it. The mask is big but it stays on and he can see easily out of it. It will get loads of use. He loves it.

My grandson was delighted with his birthday present. It arrived in plenty of time for his parents to wrap and have it waiting for him. We saw him open his gift on Skype. A great service Amazon, one happy boy and 2 happy grandparents.

Perfect for a Potter fan who doesn't want to be Harry or Hermione! This went down a storm at The WB Harry Potter studio. Great quality item for the price and the mask really is quite scary!

Well made costume, mask especially well detailed. A little pricey I thought, but then it is to do with Harry Potter and prices just seem to spiral if its anything to do with Harry P.

The death eater is absolutely wonderful. Brilliant for the price i paid. Good quality material and brilliant mask. My children love it. Very happy with this item.
