We bought the bigger size (large) after reading reviews. My daughter is a normal size for a 6/7 year old, a slim 120cm tall as are most of the girls in her class in fact in year 2. The large was too big but she could still wear it ok, it was just a bit baggy and long incl the tights. So I guess a medium would have suited her build better. Yes she can grow into it, but will she still want to wear it in a year or twos time. I would suggest if you are not sure and your daughter is of similar build get the medium so it fits properly. Despite that we are more than happy with the dress, my daughter loves it as she is a big Monster High fan and wore it over halloween so we were very happy with the fast delivery to be able to wear it then.

Fast delivery, good packaging. Addons were all included in same delivery. Bought large for my slim, tall (125cm) 6.5 years old after reading reviews. Size a little bigger than expected, length just above knees and sleeves too long for now. However waist can be cinched in with the belt (also too long - fits my waist). Belt has fortunately been hassle free so far; has one velcro now but will stick some more at the right places to keep in place. Stitching ok, material thin like most costumes but no itchiness or rashes so far so not bothered. Just needs careful handling. Overall, I'm pleased

I bought the lager size due to the other reviews saying it's on the small side and my daughter is really tall for the age of six. The large is too big for her and is probably perfect for an eight year old however I've added a few darts which I can later remove as she gets older. The lightning strike on the belt fell off after only 10 minutes play and it was held in place by glue, I've now sewn it on with silver thread so as not to loose it whilst out at parties. As for the quality it's not the best, a bit on the thin side but she loves it and I did get it on offer so I'm happy.

I was about to buy a medium size for my 8yr old daughter,but after reading the reviews about sizes being very small, I decided to go large, should have stayed with medium as my daughter is quite small for her age, dress wasn't too bad but the waistband of the tights came up to her armpits and the feet of the tights were huge, she looked liked Nora Batty, so I've ordered the medium, hoping it will come in time for her party, we'll see which size is going to be best ?

The costume was an extraordinary Christmas present for my daughter, but unfortunately the leggings were too big. My daughter is 5yr and a half, and from my previous experience I ordered a size SMALL (3-4 years). Good decision, because the dress fits ok, but the leggings are for a 8-10 year-old girl (they fit OK to my older daughter, who is 9!).In my opinion, they included a wrong size of leggings in the outfit...

My 7 year old daughter loves monster high and is very excited to have her very own "Frankie Stein" outfit! This arrived promptly (prime delivery). The outfit itself is of usual dress up material however it is well made - I bought the large as my daughter is very tall for her age and although it's a bit big round her waist etc it's a good fit for her height (better than being too small anyway).

just what my daughter wanted and it's actually good quality. i bought a large and my daughter is a normal average size 7yrs old and it was a perfect fit. the length was a bit longer than on the model but i think it looks better like that! the tights were very long but again better than being to short!!i didn't think it would be as nice as it is tbh, it looked really cute on her!

Got this for World Book Day.My girl is 6 so I got the large..tights are a little long but just pull em up & fold em the dress is comfy & there's room to grow.If your 6yr old is average/small get the medium my girl is a sturdy 6yr old,if I'd got the medium it would fit with no loosenessGreat materials speedy post.Happy little girl happy momma..hope this helps.

ordered a L for her, slightly large as she is petite but she is not complaining and she would. Wore it to world book day with the wig, lot's of bad reviews about the quality but I thought it was fine for the price, the back of the dress has a zip which is much better then the velcro backs and everything else is fine. She looks lovely.

Great Quality slightly on the small side, I got a 8-10yrs and its quite snug on my 6yr old but she loves it so would recommend with a note of advice to get a larger size than what you need but as many of us parents out their do it when it comes to fancy dress your probably thinking "dur luv obviously" lol

Bought this for my six year old and ordered the large... It was a bit big but she didnt mind because the skirt was longer and i put a big pink tutu under it to puff it up so it looked great x she will get at least a year out of it. Came with tights and belt too which were good quality for the price.

My daughter really wanted this outfit!! When it arrived the dress colour looked less blue than in the picture but didn't disappoint her as the outfit its pretty much what we expected. A bit thin for a Halloween night out trick or treating but for a disco party warm enough.

Brought this for my monster high mad, daughter. She was absolutely over the moon. Size fits perfectly, only qualm would be the Velcro on the belt was on very good, a safety pin in place did the job though. Happy daughter = happy mum!

Bought this as a Halloween costume for my daughter who is a monster high fan, she loved it! It was quite big fitting so don't underestimate the sizes when ordering but on the plus side it will still fit her this Halloween!

Nice outfit, but odd sizing. I have a nine year old so had to get large but she is small and slender so although the dress fits fine, the tights are baggy and the belt is very loose.She is happy with it though.
