From week 10, when I got her, to week 12 I was feeding my 600g chorkie (chihuahua x Yorkshire terrier) pup on Hill's Science Plan small & miniature puppy kibble. She only ate tiny amounts and rarely cleared her bowl. Over those two weeks, she became quite skinny and although she grew a bit, she didn't put on any weight. Her breath and poo (sorry) were very, very smelly and poo (sorry again) was inconsistent. She was also scooting along on her bottom a lot. Asked the vet about it, she had just been wormed so it wasn't that and she didn't have an anal glad problem - so no idea really.I thought I'd try Royal Canin because lots of breeders seem to use it. The difference was amazing.As soon as I opened the bag she was there dancing around and looking really eager. I gave her the recommended amount, which was a lot more than she had been eating and not only did she gobble it down, but she came back looking for more. I only got the food yesterday, but already she has lost the gaunt look she was getting. She's full of energy, really cheeky and seems much happier. She no longer has bad breath, her poo (ditto) is as it should be and unless you stuck your nose in it (and really, I can't see anyone wanting to do that!) you'd hardly know it smells. Also, the scooting has stopped.Hopefully, those two weeks on Science Plan won't have caused any lasting damage. I feel so bad about giving her something that was obviously doing her no good, but I've never had such a tiny pup before and the packaging was very persuasive.The Royal Canin food is so palatable that she is happy to receive it as rewards when training. Thank you Royal Canin, if you haven't actually saved my puppy's life, you have certainly saved her health. I've had lots of dogs in the past and used lots of different makes of kibble, but after this, I'll never use another brand. I feel confident that when she moves onto the adult formula at 10 months, she'll continue to thrive.

I never normally leave reviews, but i am so pleased with this product. I have a very fussy 7 month old pomeranian and she was turning her nose up to various foods such as barking heads and lilys kitchen etc. She refused both dry and wet foods just picking at them occasionally. So after browsing through amazon for yet another decent brand i could try her on, i came across this royal canin. After reading the positive reviews, i ordered the x small puppy. Well i am absolutely thrilled with this food. The pellets are tiny and the perfect size for my pup. She loves them with a pump of salmon oil in each meal, she now leaves a clean bowl every time. I wish i had found this sooner. Thank you so much,i highly recommend this brand and i will be buying regulary from now on.

Brilliant. My pomeranian puppy absolutely LOVES this. I tried to get her Lillies Kitchen cos I thought it might be better for her. But she hates it and my vet approves of this so no need. Its small bites and easy to chew. Perfect for a small breed who is developing new teeth. It is not a chore to eat.

Little dogs are fussy eaters we all know but this food sends mine bananas, they love it. So maybe the ingredients are not up to human standards but after all, they are dogs and will roll in the stinkiest cow dung given the chance - perspective gets skewed a bit sometimes.

It's very tiny nibblesSmaller than any other royal canin food.My little ones like it , also my tiny chihuahua boy 1kg just and 7mth old xan manage the bite better.I mix a feed with water or royal canin milk some times.alittle goes along way .

Mini dachshund loved this food moved on to Junior Dachshund food by Royal Canin when she went over 5kg.Dachshunds are fussy eaters. Not since I switched to Royal Canin though ... blink and it's gone.

I gave 5 stars for flavour - obviously I can only rely on my puppy’s appetite for that and she seems well happy ! Delivery excellent . No complaints at all . Will definitely use this seller again.

Exactly what I needed for my tiny fussy little YorkiePoo any kibble bigger than this she spits out, itr keeps her fit full of energy fun. Don't think it could be bettered.

My puppy loves this food but also my vet and local pet shop said it was good when i said i was feeding her this, and i didnt even buy it from them.

Have swapped my chihuahua puppy to this food from Royal Canin breed type food and he enjoys this more. Also lasts about a month

Excellent product my dogs love it have it on repeat order every two months before buying this my dogs wouldn't eat biscuits.

Keeps my pups in top form, very easy to wean onto as they love it wet and dry. Good value for money as nothing is wasted.

this is very good food and I would recommend this food to my friends with small breeds too, and it came fast delivery too
